To think very few actors can act drunk convincingly?

Just that really, especially on soaps. They just don’t seem to be able to do it convincingly. Can anyone act drunk convincingly without actually getting drunk?

Stephen Graham is amazing at acting drunk in boiling point. He's an awesome actor all round though

I saw Janette Krankie at a panto on New Year day where she and DH were clearly still worse for wear!

Rita, Sue and Bob Too, had a drunk dad that was scarily realistic.

I agree.
It's very difficult to do convincingly.

Cary Grant does a pretty good job in North by Northwest when he's been made drunk by James Mason and his hired thugs.
