I'm 36 and according to my sister my car ages me ten years. Wtaf?! It's an Audi a6 estate. So yes, a "mum car". But is this a thing?!

31 - Land Rover (Freelander 2)

Lonelycrab · 15/12/2024 17:52

52 and a 2013 Honda Civic 1.8

StillSmallVoice · 15/12/2024 17:53

62, Golf with a two litre engine. It goes.

When the kids were needing lots of driving round with lots of 'stuff' I had a Honda CRV, which was fab.

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 15/12/2024 17:54

64 Skoda Octavia. As long as it has four wheels and they all go round at more or less the same rate, that's all I care about. I've no money to replace it anyway.

RedRiverShore5 · 15/12/2024 17:54

66 and a Ford Fiesta. I only really go to the shops in it though

Bananalanacake · 15/12/2024 17:56

47 and I love my Renault Zoe. Dh has a ridiculously massive Mercedes which I can drive but it's like trying to park a tank.

calmandcollected101 · 15/12/2024 17:56

29, Porsche Taycan

jasmine465 · 15/12/2024 17:56

31 and an Audi Q8 e-tron which is ideal for the dogs and the kids. We do also have an elderly Nissan Qashqai for running around in but I try to avoid using it as much as possible as it's diesel so more expense and faff to run

LunaTheCat · 15/12/2024 17:57

60 and treated myself to a new Corolla hydrid 5 door… goes on smell oily rag and nippy.
i bought it outright with an unexpected inheritance and think of my lovely Auntie every time I drive it.

WouldIBeMad · 15/12/2024 18:00

We are 42 and 45.

We share a newish Jaguar F Pace and a 10ish year old mini convertible. I want to trade the mini in for a Suzuki Jimny, he wants to go for a new electric.

LittleMissLateForWorkAgain · 15/12/2024 18:01

MajorCarolDanvers · 15/12/2024 18:01

50 and drive a Skoda Kamiq

Fluffyunicorn1 · 15/12/2024 18:02

Dh - 37 zafira because we have 4 kids between us so need more seats.

me - 32 focus st line which I absolutely love. Before that I had a corsa which was boring to drive and needed pushing to get up the slightest hill!

BlueEyedLeucy · 15/12/2024 18:02

I’m 35 and my car is a Corsa. It replaced my 15 yr old Astra last year, I don’t drive much - don’t need it for work commute - so it takes me to the shops and days out in summer. It’s good, nippy enough, but it’s very obviously cheap. But I’m not a car person, I’d rather buy this outright than pay more to do my grocery shopping in a fancier car!

MarryMeTomHardy · 15/12/2024 18:03

Mid 40s - BMW 440i MSport convertible

EvilNextDoor · 15/12/2024 18:03

I’m in my 40’s and drive a Porsche cayenne 🤷‍♀️

WhatsitWiggle · 15/12/2024 18:03

50, drive a Mini London 2012 edition

Car before that was Mazda 3, hated it but it was practical. One before that was Mazda MX5, loved it to bits but was not compatible with baby/small child.

bouncydog · 15/12/2024 18:04

67 with a Skoda Citigo and RAV Hybrid AWD.

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 15/12/2024 18:04
  1. A Nissan Qashqai and a Jaguar F-Type. One for practicality and one for fun.
namechangeGOT · 15/12/2024 18:05

Since April I've driven an Evoque. Prior to that I drove a Peugeot 107 since I passed my test in 2021. I drive/drove them both with the same care. I don't speed, I have good etiquette and I don't wear a gillet. I'm 41.
