I'm 36 and according to my sister my car ages me ten years. Wtaf?! It's an Audi a6 estate. So yes, a "mum car". But is this a thing?!

32, Honda Civic (although I've had it since I was 27).

Why did I want it? Because the back seats fold flat (unlikely some which still stick up at an angle) and you can also pull up the seat part up so you can put bikes in the back passenger bit.

Love it. It has a big, practical boot.

I'm in my 50s and drive a Ford S Max. A mum bus since we have 3 teenagers at home and relatives who come to visit without a car so we need the extra seats.

62 and Peugeot 2008 petrol manual year 2000. 'Back in my day' a station wagon (here called an estate) was the 'mom' car.

I’m 44. I have a Discovery sport, an older discovery 3 for the dirty work and and Audi S5 convertible for the summer. I also bought a little Toyota Aygo X this year. It’s a 2024 plate so the tech inside is fine but it is still a tin can. You can tell it was only £17k. No door cards and just cheap all round. I bought it to park in the multi story when I go to my nearest city. It does its job but sits on the drive the rest of the time. It’s not a comfortable drive.

30 Toyota Auris, it’s my first car as I only passed end of last year.

But generally rather than age misconceptions people are just shocked I'm a woman 🤔

34 and I have a white Corsa with a black roof. I love it. We used to have a Volvo XC40 which I loved a bit more, I have to admit. I miss that car.

43 and a Skoda fabia the ‘colour edition’. Red with black roof. Used to drive a seat Leon FR only last year. This is now solely DH’s car but I do drive it sometimes

I genuinely can't think of a single cool car. Either they're cheap, seen as mum mobiles, or they're expensive thus seen as flashy and try hard.

Audi RSq3 and I'm in my forties. I've always been into cars and had to wait until I was older to have this because of the insurance.
