To think this attack on London Jewish schoolchildren should have been headline news

I have been waiting for this story to go mainstream, and I’m shocked that it hasn’t.

So far, it seems only the Daily Mail has reported on it - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14142235/amp/Jewish-children-terrified-thugs-London-bus-rocks-Israel.html.

When are we going to start taking the threats against Jews in the UK seriously and actually do something about it?

It was reported in the local news and several outlets like Yahoo news and GB news.
It was a terrible attack that needs further investigating and the perpetrators held to account, but I wouldn't expect it to be in headline news. In my town a student threatened a teacher and other studens with a knife and that didn't even make it to the local news.

It's been reported by many outlets, not just Jewish outlets which you seem to have a problem with.

But even if there was 4k footage from a hundred different angles and a hundred independent witnesses you'd still find an excuse for the racist cunts.

There was a racist attack in my local city a few weeks ago, a house BURNT out and the family made homeless. Didn’t make it out of the regional news.

The JC sin't what it used to be, but we have independent confirmation, and as a Jew who used to live in London (my children might well have attended JFS if we had stayed!) I can tell you that harassment has been an issue for quite some time. It was a bigger issue at King Solomon in Ilford.

Some people on this thread are really digging to avoid the truth.

Some people are. But some are just pedantically discussing the question posed "should this be headline news". A better question would be "isn't this antisemitic attack outrageous, and what should we be doing about it?"

Personally I think we should publicise racist attacks much more, not start fearing encouraging the racists, and if this brings some of the antisemites and other racists out of the woodwork they should be pursued and prosecuted.

But not many people (ok,some) on the thread are actually claiming it is unimportant.

I hope they are caught. This is completely unacceptable and it would be if it were Christians doing it to Muslims. No one, full stop, should be doing this.

I wonder what the police investigation has actually turned up in this. They should ah e a good idea by now. What with cctv from the bus etc

And also statements from the two bus drivers and the students on the bus. The police also made an appeal for witnesses.
Police are also aware of which school the attackers attend, so it would be interesting to find out how the incident was followed up in that particular school.

Last I heard they had suspects in custody. Although I'm not sure antisemitic attacks are a priority for the Met these days.
