Or Britain? Or England, or Wales, or Scotland, or NI, or Spain, or the US, or Canada, or Ghana, or Greece or wherever you hail from. Do you love it? What do you love about it? AIBU to wonder if any of it is real?

Yes I love where I live. I'm Welsh and live in Wales. We have the best of everything culture wise. The best National Anthem. The best Flag. History, Myth and Legend. Language. I'm not British. I'm Welsh. Cymru am Byth 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I love England, specifically. I like the rest of the UK but England is home for me. I love the climate, with no crazy extremes. I love living somewhere where days grow long in the summer, and nights draw in in the winter. I love the landscape of gently rolling hills, that keep you safe, rather than dramatic mountains full of danger. I like that there are seashores never too far away. I love our lengthy history, filling places with meaning and memories. I love warm, comforting stodgy dinners with proper gravy and proper custard. I love it here.

You learn something every day! I've lived close to mountains my entire life and had no idea of the "danger" they were full of.

Seriously though, mountains are gloriously gorgeous, and hills really just don't cut the mustard for me.

Yup, love the UK. Love the landscape, the history and most of the people. 😏

Not so keen on the politicians of either hue over the past couple of decades who I feel have run down our country and allowed it to be overrun with imported criminals.

I do hate racist people. That has certainly increased since Brexit. Living in Leicester, it was one of the first cities to have people coming from India and Africa from the late 1940s-1960s.

I got very upset over people who voted for Brexit to get these people back home. Erm, they were in the UK a good 5-25 years before we entered the EU (or EEC as it was known then). Some of these families are in their 4th generation born in this country.
