I worked with him years ago in my 20s. He was an inappropriate sex pest then, so I'm not even vaguely surprised.

Rylan is on my 'hes got to be a good bloke' list. He could yet disappoint me with surrogacy but he's one of the few of my 'hes alright list'. My friend knows Clive and says he's nice (but you just never know).

I'm really glad to hear that about Clive, he always strikes me as someone with real sincerity and warmth and the same with Rylan. But two years ago I would have said the same thing about another newsreader, so as you say you never know.

Just had to Google Matt Tebett as I thought he was a cabinet minister somewhere and couldn't understand what he had to do with the BBC! Safe to say I'm not as up on my chefs as I like to think 🤣.

@99point6 I remember reading an interview with Gino in response to one Paul Young had done not long after his wife's death in which he was reflecting on how much it would have meant to still have had her stolen items around for sentimental reasons.

Gino's reaction was that it had been a long time ago, PY should get over it and hinted that he was bringing it up to gain sympathy or attention. There was not a shred of remorse or empathy in it.

Easier to edit out.

Also, JB was reported to the police by his wife and was prosecuted. Gregggg has done nothing illegal. Vile and creepy, but not illegal.

@Elvisgotitrightaboutchristmas Michael Palin for me, didn't add him to my list because he's not a BBC presenter but if ever even a hint of some wrongdoing were to appear then we're all doomed.

That Is why many autistic people, or ‘people with autism’ as many prefer but get told they are wrong, are slipping away to the shadows again.

I thought MN in general was a major safe space for people with autism yet here you are belittling Gregory's condition.
