Nikita had such terrible bruising, a paramedic hasn't seen such extensive bruising, she had to have a tampon removed from her cervix, she's had her house/car attacked, mum threatened, intruders broke into her home and tried to stab her bf/ threatening her and her bf he tried to pay her off in 2019 for a million, she said no I want justice.

Conor McGregor wearing a blue shirt, white shirt and black tie. He has light brown short hair and a beard

Woman wins civil rape case against Conor McGregor

A civil action was taken by Nikita Hand who had accused McGregor of raping her in a Dublin hotel in 2018.

The DPP decided not to pursue a criminal case: it was at this point that Nikita decided to take a civil case against him (which has a lower burden of proof)

this is behind a paywall on the independent “The reliability and consistency of witnesses, the existence of a second suspect who Nikita Hand had no recollection of having sex with, the amount of alcohol and drugs she consumed, and her demeanour in CCTV footage were all factors that prompted the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) not to bring criminal charges against Conor McGregor and James Lawrence.”

Because prosecutors deemed there wasn’t enough evidence

The fact McGregor has a history of intimidating witnesses and victims getting them to drop their statements is of course a complete coincidence

mollyfolk · 23/11/2024 00:50

Just to mention on this thread - this website is her solicitors. I sent off a card for her today to support her. This case reignited old memories for me of a friend that was raped in a similar way ( by a non famous person) I feel a lot of guilt about this for various reasons and have been very emotionally invested in this case.

So putting it up here in case anyone else affected by this case would like to send Nikita some support via email or mail.

It’s inexplicable and like I say I probably have higher expectations for women to be protectors than the next person.

But yes the focus should be on him and my first post said he should be imprisoned for life. WTF is happening in Ireland that he gets away with violent crime after violent crime.

I really think there should be some sort of “three strikes” rule for violent men (and women but let’s face it they’d be few and far between) or similar. Hes had so many accusations and convictions - either he’s the world’s unluckiest man to be falsely accused so often (unlikely) or we need to start locking up these men away forever.

Anyway I’m waffling now and perhaps that’s not a well thought out plan but I am sick to the back teeth of famous men who, in my view, have little talent and even fewer brains, getting away with violence all the time.. The sad thing is he will continue to fight and people will pay to watch him and will cheer him on. Look at the rapist Mike Tyson. I’m fucking sick of men being Teflon coated and I’m afraid it’s hard not to be angry at every loved one, family member and friend who stands by supporting them and never ever checking or calling out their behaviour.
I have a son and I will always love him but my support is absolutely conditional. If he ever did what CM did I would absolutely disown him. Same for any family member, friend, brother etc. Not stand around moaning that he’s the real victim, which no doubt CM’s circle are doing.

Sorry. Rant over

U disagree about him continuing to fight, it's been years since his last fight and he'll be hitting 40 soon. He knows he won't win. Sure he lost his last 2 or 3 fights. He's a loser , his luck ran out.

Happiestwhen · 23/11/2024 05:09

*I not you

Flux1 · 23/11/2024 05:29

It's no surprise that McGregor has not married Dee. Prenuptial agreements have no basis in Irish law. He is protecting his assets by not marrying her.

Why wasn't this taken forward as a criminal prosecution?

The compensation doesn't seem enough, given the impact on her life.

Agreed. I'd also like to know why the CPS doesn't take this forward.

yohohoCrimbo · 23/11/2024 06:08

Ignore my previous post. I've now RTFT.

🤣🤣🤣 what a twat you are

DanielaDressen · 23/11/2024 07:41

Saddest thing is that he paramedics and doctor who examined her the following day said she had the worst bruising they’d ever seen and that still wasn’t enough for the powers that be to bring a criminal prosecution.

All just accusations, nothing concrete. He's a livewire and if you move in the circles he moves in then shit will occasionally go down. Not something any of us need worry about.

///

Your right. He's an upstanding guy of the "boys will boys" ilk and raping a woman so violently her tampon has to be removed from her cervix with forceps is just rough sex gone a bit too far Confused

The description used in court was "athletic sex" which is forever going to tar that word for me now.

I'm so relieved that the jury believed her.

I think it was the man in the pub who wouldn’t drink his whiskey

No it wasn't him. He punched that man aswell.

However the person who jaw he allegedly broke, was a woman

I know a lot about this as I've heard a lot about it. It's talked about a lot in Dublin. Im in Dublin.
I have to say allegedly as it is not proven in a court of law. But I have heard this particular story many times.

Allegedly a woman said something to Conor McG that he didn't like, and he went over to her and punched her full on in the jaw.

Allegedly he broke her jaw very badly.

Allegedly She went into hospital.

Allegedly he paid her medical fees, and allegedly he also severely threatened her not to go to the police about it.

Edited

Yep, his security got her to hospital, covered her with coats to hide her, she was paid and threatened to say nothing...but others who were there saw and heard exactly what happened.

I believe he has assaulted several people at this stage and gotten away with it because people are too scared of him.

Except for Nikita Hand.

Its a shame the many men who surround him who will have seen and know about his violence haven’t been half a brave as the woman who raped him, seeing as none have spoke up.

Lallydallydune · 23/11/2024 08:45

I also saw something interesting on another thread.

Do you remember the alleged lovechild that he had in England.

He announced that DNA Results showed that the child wasn't his.

But someone on another thread pointed this out.

If you look at the child's mothers instagram. All of her photos are of her being in England.

Then right after Conor announces - that DNA tests show the child is not his,

The very next day after Conor announced about the DNA results..., the mothers instagram photos change to show her in New York, Las Vegas, her photos change to show her travelling all over the USA on a glamorous holiday.

The speculation is that Conor could have paid that woman off aswell, to agree to say that the child was not his. In return for a large payout.

I think what helped nikita to stand up to him was that she grew up in his area and she knew his partner Dee's family. Her family knowing Dees family and her being from the area, probably made her a bit less scared of them all.

Fair play to her.

LetMeGoogleThat · 23/11/2024 08:56

I get so angry when I read the press coverage, and she is constantly referred to as the Accuser, No! She's the victim.

Why would he get a custodial sentence? This was a civil case. The woman essentially just sued him. He was not on a criminal trial. He was not being prosecuted.
You can’t sue someone to have them sent to prison. You get money. That’s it.

He wasn’t being prosecuted.

Why do you keep posting the same thing, we get you're on the side of CMG, thankfully it's known now he's a rapist, criminal case or not.

Exactly.

We all know it's a civil case.

And we all know that she had to bring a civil case, as the DPP wouldn't bring a criminal case against him

Thata why I think this case is so Important. Now women know that if the DPP won't bring their rape case to a criminal trial, .thw woman will now know that she can pursue another avenue of a civil trial
