To be so looking forward to how Beth will kill Jamie

I am really sad Costner didn’t come back for the second half of S5.
But oh I am so looking forward to watch what Beth will do to Jamie and to wipe the smug look off Sarah’s face.

I know they’re just characters but I am loving the last few episodes so far.

Jamie showed them Beth’s ID too, didn’t he, to explain that they ‘had’ to use that clinic as otherwise the news would get out. You’d think that would have made them wash their hands of it.

Yep.

One of the best known and most powerful men in the state's teenage daughter.

No reason whatsoever to think she's of native American ancestry.

But they're going to permanently sterilise her and take her young brother's (if they even knew he was her brother and didn't think he was a bf) consent/authority to do so.

Nah.

*their families

The person who applied and got the scholarship (and their family), are going to be delighted if the get it, and keep very quiet if they don't actually qualify.

Well to be fair, as pointed out above, Jamie went to this particular clinic because they wanted to keep the abortion quiet. So the clinic would have no expectation that they would come back and start making a fuss about the sterilisation as they explicitly told Jamie that was part of the deal.

Anyway, I guess my perspective (as a writer) is that dramatic license exists to give writers the ability to tell a fictionalised story in a way that reality doesn't permit.

I bet loads of people watched this episode and were shocked to learn for the first time that reservations performed sterilisations, even if the timeline was a decade or so out.

You feel differently and that's fine, but I don't really feel like arguing over it. This thread seems to be aimed at people who like Yellowstone, not hate it.

Got to admit though, most of the storylines are completely mad!

The bombing and attempted murders of a whole family? Come on that would have made international news! Not just quietly brushed under the carpet.

All those murders? There is no way none of those drifters wouldn't have been missed.

But it's not a documentary, so I just suspend all belief and enjoy it for what it is.

Does anyone else fail to understand Walker's (apparent) attraction.

The laydeez always seem to be eyeing him up and jumping on his *#+k ...... Meanwhile I'm like "he's skinny, small bodied, his face is not masculine, and his accent is extreme & not particularly attractive .....wtf?"

Edited

Oh he is errrr.
but the one rip has left in charge. Hot!

I don't really get his motivation in sterilising Beth .... Is he supposed to have secretly hated her so it was a way to get at her? Their relationship didn't seem that bad back then (?) If it had been that bad, why wouldn't she have asked her other older brother to help her, instead of him?

I think he was taking a very paternalistic view of thinking he could decide what was "best" for her given that she had clearly spun out after her mother's death (and from being treated so poorly by her mum before then). Jamie is incredibly arrogant, he thinks he's better than everyone else, yet at the same time craves their approval.

Being closer in age to Beth, he was probably more the natural person for her to go to instead of Lee. Given that Lee was already being trained up to run the ranch as the oldest son, she might have thought he was more likely to tell their Dad.

Edited

I completely forgot about Lee!!
Kayce is just another level of beautiful.

Came out having been hooked up to an IV, on Oxygen for several hours and injected with a variety of medications without being asked - including the flu, shingles and pneumonia jabs

Is this because they want to charge as much as possible?

That’s exactly what I was thinking x

Team Rip here, with Ryan as a good stand-in. I'll leave Walker for his many fans. (Mind you, I was Team John too, like me men 'lived in'.)😆

Is this in the new season?

I haven't got that far yet.

Kayce is just another level of beautiful.

Another one who so many people fancy and I don't get.

This reminds me of Tom Hardy.

8/10 women ... Phwaar.
Me ...eh?

Yep.

I enjoy it but a lot of the storylines/plot points have you thinking "oh, come on!".

Yes!

KC maintains a lot of his handsomeness and charisma, he's a man who's aging well.

Gil Birmingham is also aging well.
