Dh has walked off and left me alone at 1am in the street. 2 miles from home

Just that really. We were out with friends, going back to theirs. Dh refused to back to theirs but I don't know why. The others left in a cab. I couldn't leave dh alone in the pub. I I said I'm going home. He said OK. Followed me out in a fit and angry, cos he felt obliged to follow me. He's walked home. I'm 2 miles away from homre and sitting in the cold shivering
He messaged me to ask if I got an uber home. I said no, he said good we've spent £x on uber tonight.

He's walked home and I'm sitting on the kerb, 2 miles away in the dark, cold.

You are losing the high ground here by sleeping on the kerb. You should have got a cab to the friends house. What are you going to do now? (Do not ever say to him ‘you made me sleep on the kerb, because he didn’t)

StSwithinsDay · 16/11/2024 01:15

He’s been a dick,
So has the op. She's an adult. Sitting on the side of the road like a fool.

Boopadoop90 · 16/11/2024 01:15

Ty all. I am so so so cold. He clearly doesn't care I'm sitting on the kerb. I'm so upset at him. Our friends think it weird how he's acted

Why are you being so incapable? Single people get home on their own all the time.

Get off your ass and go home. Walk or take a taxi, whichever you prefer. Stop being a drama queen, and discuss it with him once you've both sobered up in the morning.

StSwithinsDay · 16/11/2024 01:16

He clearly doesn't care I'm sitting on the kerb.
He is probably fed up with your drama llama shite.

Hualalai · 16/11/2024 01:16

Don't be so silly OP. It's dangerous to sleep on the kerb.
Have you been drinking or taking drug.
Order an Uber.

Boopadoop90 · 16/11/2024 01:17

He left me in the street. He didn't want to walk after me when I said was going home. He felt like he HAD to. Stuff that

Balloonhearts · 16/11/2024 01:17

This is pathetic. Get up and go home. Do you know how unsafe it is to sleep rough? Walk home and if, in the morning you are sober and still want revenge, do the mature thing and rub chilli in all his pants.

Aria999 · 16/11/2024 01:17

He probably thinks you are an adult woman and you sitting on the kerb from your own choice is not his responsibility.

He has a point.

What are you trying to achieve? Other than death by hypothermia, which I suppose might make him sorry but you would never know....

Hualalai · 16/11/2024 01:17

Order an Uber and go home.

Bobbie12345 · 16/11/2024 01:18

Grow up and get yourself out of this situation. He is not making you sleep there. You are doing it to yourself.

crumblingschools · 16/11/2024 01:19

Can you go to your friends?

Either go there or your friends, sober up and then have a chat with DH

Boopadoop90 · 16/11/2024 01:19

I just wanted him to show he Cared about me. He is probably in bed now

OP posts:
Cindersroo · 16/11/2024 01:19

Do you have the funds for an Uber/Taxi? If yes why aren’t you just ordering one ?

It sounds like you’re very drunk. Try and get yourself home safe and sober up then ask questions of your partner in the morning

Spectre8 · 16/11/2024 01:20

So he reluctantly followed you when tou left to go home, you told him not to bother so being drunk he just carried on walking home whilst you sat down on a kerb. Why did you say not to bother should of just carried on walking home with him behind you.

Why have you been sitting in the cold for an hour, he isn't coming to get you so just go home. This is incredibly stupid behaviour on your part.

penmanship · 16/11/2024 01:20

OP, why can’t you order an uber? Like seriously - what is the reason why you can’t order one?

RhannionKPSS · 16/11/2024 01:20

Go home, get a grip and go home. You are being weird now

Thank you 😂

XChrome · 16/11/2024 01:22

She's either quite drunk or this is a massive wind up.
She's just posting the same thing over and over; "He walked home without me. I'm on the curb."
MN (in unison); "Get off the curb and walk home."
OP; "He walked home without me. I'm on the curb."

Youhaveyourhandsfull · 16/11/2024 01:23

Given all this drama I am absolutely not surprised he left you and went home.

PensivePencil · 16/11/2024 01:23

You’re probably at worst a 35 - 40 min walk from home, just walk back or get an uber. This is a drunken argument, don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.

So he tried to follow or accompany you home. You told him not to. He carried on alone.

Now you are sitting on a kerb, sulking.

Is that right?

WinterCrow · 16/11/2024 01:24

I'm assuming the OP is in her cups.

Boopadoop90 · 16/11/2024 01:24

Thanks @Youhaveyourhandsfull
