DH talking about divorce over air fryer

Just had a really disappointing chat with DH tonight. I want to borrow an airfryer for our babyshower next weekend and he just didn't seem interested at all, and even brought up divorce! AIBU to be upset by this?? not sure why its gone bold

I prefer the versazone to the dual basket. You get the option of using the two halves separately - or you can use the one big drawer which is big enough for a roast chicken with potatoes and carrots/parsnips alongside. I can even fit a pizza in it (standard supermarket size, not the finest/taste the difference) type ones.

I strongly suspect his need to possibly instigate divorce proceedings over an air fryer , may be a mask for a deeper seated issue.

I’m waiting for the update where the husband ends up running off with the air fryer that OP welcomed into their home. We can probably read the husbands story in the next issue of ‘take a shit’ magazine, “my hot spicy new lover made me leave my dull marriage and go from 0 to 200•c in seconds, it was my wife’s friend, but as soon as I saw it I couldn’t resist it’s sexy electric saving abilities”.

@booklady1990 YANBU to be upset that your DH is threatening divorce when you’re expecting the imminent birth of a baby. Is it your first child?
