It does seem a bit odd they didn't feel obliged to storm out in protest until they lost... very interesting that they managed to cope ok with the hate speech when it was horrifically graphic trans attacks on women pre-Musk (along with other notable activities like the suppression of Hunter Biden's laptop - one would think that alone would make someone quit if they were genuinely concerned about election interference and unfair bias)

Actually, I think that analysis is monumentally unfair on Harris. However, I also think that culture-war issues have become one of the things that give the Right a stick to beat the Left with (and I speak as a Labour member). The modal person (no, autocorrect, I didn't mean "model") is OK with live-and-let-live but is repelled by holier-than-thou. So, if AOC has stopped wearing her Trans Ally badge in public, good, partly because I don't like to have people imply that "good people" believe in nonsense, and partly because the Democrats need to stop doing things that make that old maniac Trump look sane.
