We need car radio that we can pause. There was a quiz on the radio earlier and I waited ages for the answer but eventually had to go to a meeting. I wish I could pause it and start where I’d turned the engine off. Same as a rewind for when you start the car at the end of a song you love.

What else needs to be invented?

I visited Poland last year and the locals there also didn't speak any English.

The completely unrealistic thing I have always wanted is a machine which, when I snap my fingers, gets me instantly home from wherever I am and lands me in bed, in pyjamas, fully washed, teeth clean, make up off. It's the dream.
