Apoplectic that ITV have chosen Queen Camilla to host a documentary highlighting the domestic abuse of women when she was King Charle's OW for many years and complicit in his abuse of Princess Diana.

Honestly, you sound elderly and obsessed with a silly grudge. The only reason Camilla is infamous is because of the Press, not her behaviour- it was no worse than millions of other women. She's certainly paid for it.

I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of other posters on here have said the same thing I have about Camilla.

I read that Di stepped out in the marriage first. I understand she married very young. She also had an affair with a married man (calling his house something like 150 times in one night iirc) and I believe Dodi also had a fiance when she was with him.

They don’t care at all really, all the vociferous posters on here who are so angry probably have husbands who have left them or had affairs, they are just projecting their anger onto Camilla, they are not arbiters of moral values on marriage, they have just been personally affected by it and Camilla is the easy target to take it out on.

There were lots of women talking about their experiences including Rosie Duffield .
But would a programme hosted by Rosie ( much as I admire her) have drawn the interest that Camilla has ? I doubt it . Surely this is Royalty shining the spotlight on an issue that is uncomfortable for many people to watch but vitally important.

You must think that Diana was equally as disgusting then for her part in all of the marriages and relationships that she broke up? Not sure what this has to do with the original post though other than pointless tit for tat. Anyone with any common sense wouldn’t conflate an affair with coercive control in any case. Surely the important thing to be focusing on is that someone who attracts a lot of media and public attention is highlighting domestic violence. The rest is history but DV sadly isn’t history and occurs thousands of times a day. Focus on the things that are relevant not those that aren’t.

Queen Consort is a job title, the Queen Mother was a Queen Consort, Queen Mary was a Queen Consort, every Queen who is married to a King is a consort, they are not known as Queen Consort they are known as Queen or Queen and their first name.
