You realise that the Republicans want to abolish even those "certain circumstances"?

Threat to the mother's life and no chance the foetus will be viable anyway? Well the mother will have to die, because she's not getting an abortion.

Child raped and impregnated? She'll have to carry the rapist's child to term then. Forced marriage will be next.

Harris actually would have given people rights over the uterus of women and called them 'uterus havers'. Uterus havers would be expected to take a three times rick of pregnancy complications as a handmaid/surrogate. Infertility would become a reproductive right for the likes of Harris, as we saw in the UK with kendall buying a baby slave for herself.

I am thrilled Harris has gone like the other childless women (May/Sturgeon) who wanted to mass sterilise other people's children with puberty blockers.

Women can have a cesarean to deliver the baby.

Oh, that solves the problem of unwanted babies then.

I definitely think the OP is 🎣 and waiting for everyone to bite

Agreed.

As a British citizen it's none of my business how the election went.

I do, however, wish the American people a rewarding four years for putting your faith in the republican government. I sincerely hope all goes well for you.

Women can have a cesarean to deliver the baby.

How will that help, say, a mother with pre-eclampsia? She still wouldn't be allowed a caesarian before the baby is due.

Are these AI bots?

They may or may not be artificial, but they're certainly not intelligent.

The tolerant left on full display here.

But of course women are angry about a man who has been accused of many sexual assaults is leader.

It devalues women.

It says "you can rape women and no one cares!"

These men can still become leaders.

Red necks will be red necks I suppose. Happy for you.
Mr Tango wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire but if rapists are your thing...,...enjoy

It seems they are a thing for Harris, she puts them in prison with women to impregnate them.

No-one has advocated forced surrogacy, and as for mass sterilisation, you need to stop making things up.

What is the woke, politically correct agenda that the UK government is pursuing?

A poster on the other Trump thread called Keir Starmer's government communist but insisted that she knew what communism was when challenged.

When exactly does she do that?

YearningForAWinteryWinter · 06/11/2024 14:25

There'll always be swings from Democrat to Republicans and vice versa, just like in the UK from labour to conservatives, but what I don't get is the hero worship and cult like adoration of Trump.
He's just a man and limited to what he wants to or can do.
He's not the miracle worker his supporters think he is.
He's just as self serving as any other politician.

Sandygoldenbeaches · 06/11/2024 14:20

No I'm sad.

But I knew it would happen. The USA is deeply misogynistic in big areas of it.

I knew that no matter how badly the male candidate behaved, he would still be chosen over the woman. Simply because he's a man.

Which is why we now have a convicted felon for president, a president who has been accused by many women of sexual assault.

Over a woman.

Edited

It's not about being a woman and this identity politics needs to stop. I don't vote for someone who is my gender or who looks like me. I'll vote for who i think is best for the job. Americans have had trump as president before and Harris as vice, clearly the majority thought trump was a better choice.

GoldenPheasant · 06/11/2024 14:26

Anyone taking any bets on how long he will last before they finally acknowledge his dementia? He'll only be there as long as Vance finds it convenient.

Sheri99 · 06/11/2024 14:27

He didn't just win by a little bit...he won by a great deal. The House of Representatives and Senate are now both Republican. President Trump learned a great deal during his first term in office and his JD Vance was a solid pick, a good man. America is breathing a sigh of relief, we came together again.

Farting · 06/11/2024 13:06

I just love it. So pleased.

Why would you be thrilled that a man who has been found liable for sexual abuse of a woman has been elected.

In most other countries he would have been looked at in disgust and not allowed to even run.

I remember a presidential candidate in a different country had a sexual abuse scandal, and he was made to pull out of the presidential election

The best candidate won. Has Kamala not even had the grace to address all the people that voted for her? I haven’t seen anything from her. Quite telling of her character.

No, one of her staff went out to her supporters and told them to go home and she’d make a speech later in the day. Allegedly she’d gone to bed when she knew it was looking unlikely she’d win (according to the news)

In fairness, it was about 4.30am they were told they should go home though.

More AI Bots???
the USA colleagues who voted for Trump at my company all seem to have one or all of the following qualities:

God botherers
climate change denying
racist
thick as mince
self-interested - it’s all about the tax $$ they think they’ll get back in their pockets.

The fact that he’s a misogynist, an abuser, a lying orange faced, racist twat and a convicted felon doesn’t seem to bother them. Just so longs as he saves those liddle babies from abortion and puts that cash in their pocket books. Amen and PRAISE the Lord.

What are the features of a Harris supporter?

Child mutilating and sterilising gaslighters?

thepariscrimefiles · 06/11/2024 14:27

izimbra · 06/11/2024 14:00

You're right!

There will be loads of people who genuinely enjoy the thought of DACA recipients who've known no other home than the USA, being ripped from their US citizen partners and children and shoved into deportation concentration camps.

Because people are hateful cunts. Particularly when it comes to immigration.

They don't support Trump in spite of the cruelty, they support Trump because of the cruelty.

What about trump being found liable for sexual abuse of a woman by a court?

Are you OK with that kind of character in a leader?

PoorlyBlah · 06/11/2024 14:09

He is a convicted rapist and sex offender.

He is considered by his former chief of staff, Mark Millet to be the "most dangerous person ever" and a "total fascist".

He severely abused his power by his relentless efforts to undermine the 2020 election and overturn legitimate results. He also spread disinformation about the voting process.

He invited a gathering of supporters to attack the US Capitol while electoral votes were being counted. He urged supporters to "fight like hell".

According to Michael Gerhardt, law professor at University of North Carolina, "Trump literally bullied people and spread disinformation on a scale never seen before".

He has normalised and spread extremism, hatred, racism and violence. He refuses to condemn white supremacists.

He has tried to manipulate the justice system to get off with felonies. He also attempted to undermine and obstruct the Mueller investigation.

He has been impeached for pressuring the Ukrainian government to help his re-election campaign.

... and don't forget his stories that immigrants were eating cats and dogs in Ohio 🤔

I could go on ....

And you are "pleased" he will now be president again? 🤷🥴

Poster boy for US President isn't he!

I will really enjoy the court hearing in 3 weeks time when he is finally sentenced for the 34 felony offences he was convicted of.

Sandygoldenbeaches · 06/11/2024 14:29

Trump has been found liable of sexually abusing a woman against her will, and has been made to pay five million in damages to her.

Trump supporters ignore that and say "but he will make the economy great again".

It's disgusting really. It's ignoring sexual abuse, simply because you may get more money.

Trump has been found guilty of sexual abuse by a court.

What's your thoughts on that?
