Well over a million in my part of Dublin, prob about 1.5 million Euro but the houses that size here have more character (either period houses or architect designed).

Somuchbetternow · 26/10/2024 19:52

Around £1m to 1.2 but it’s not a style that would appeal. West Yorkshire

Allthehorsesintheworld · 26/10/2024 19:52

I’d say 1.5 million minimum.

Where are you currently living?
The east coast tends to have more sunshine than other parts of NI.
Think about maybe north Down / Ards peninsula sort of area. Beautiful scenery too. (It’s where I live 😊).

More sunshine than other parts of NI maybe, but a lot less than say the south of England!

FilthyRich · 26/10/2024 19:53

> £1.5 mil

Klozza · 26/10/2024 19:53

I live in Lincolnshire, in a fairly nice area, but pretty rural (although there is a train station with links to some bigger cities) so house prices are pretty cheap, houses very similar to this go for about £450k-£490k.

Toomanywars · 26/10/2024 19:55

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:40

£340k

Is that all

RainbowColouredRainbows · 26/10/2024 19:56

In our town you'd be looking at 400-450k (small town in NW). Detached houses around here don't sell easily or well though as you could get a 5 bed semi near outstanding schools for significantly less so almost always go for well below asking price.

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:38

Trying to figure out the square footage.

the prices here are insane.

the house was sold for £340000

A few million around these parts - probably a fair few hundred thousand lower than a similar sized period property.

That’s why if you live in London you need to really think carefully before leaving, as it could be very difficult to move back.

StrawberryCCC · 26/10/2024 19:58

£1.4m Home Counties

AgileGreenSeal · 26/10/2024 19:58

NImumconfused · 26/10/2024 19:53

True. It’s a totally different climate, landscape, everything really! 😊

Jammedchakra · 26/10/2024 19:59

I thought you’d put £3.4m at first and thought, oh a bit more than here.

I’d expect that to be £2.4 + round here, maybe more in the right road.

Differentstarts · 26/10/2024 20:01

About 400k where I live

Ireolu · 26/10/2024 20:01

3-3.5 mil. North london.

Sia8899 · 26/10/2024 20:02

Close to £2m in East Sussex but depends on which town

BarbaraHoward · 26/10/2024 20:02

I'm in NI and I'd guess around £800k here depending on the exact location.

Drachuughtty · 26/10/2024 20:02

PurBal · 26/10/2024 18:35

Probably £1.2m in our town. Possibly £850k in a neighbouring and less desirable one.

Same here

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 26/10/2024 20:04

I just checked rightmove and there's a 3313 square foot 5 bed 3 bath detached house in 1.3 acres and it's going for £1,295,000

RampantIvy · 26/10/2024 20:06

£700k - £1.5m - rural with a fair amount of land.

gotmyknickersinatwist · 26/10/2024 20:06

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:46

northern Ireland

You couldn't pay me to live in Larne.
If that was in Belfast, depending on which area you could probably add 1 to the start of that price.

I think property has become really expensive here.

HairyToity · 26/10/2024 20:08

600k

PadstowGirl · 26/10/2024 20:09

£1.2m

catstaff47 · 26/10/2024 20:10

There is an estate of similar houses near here (London) - that would be at least £4 million around here.

ForgettingMeNot · 26/10/2024 20:12

£1.5-£2m. South London borders.

Igmum · 26/10/2024 20:12

£2 million easily probably more
