Trying to figure out the square footage.

the prices here are insane.

the house was sold for £340000

This is cheaper than my 1 Bedroom flat in Hackney

harvestdesigns · 26/10/2024 19:32

probably between 800k/900k!

IDoLikeToBeByTheSea · 26/10/2024 19:32

£320-£420,000. North West

Getonwitit · 26/10/2024 19:32

£895k 100 yards from the beach, town centre 3/4 mile away. Oh and an extra bathroom and a footballer as a neighbour.

Sd352 · 26/10/2024 19:33

At least 2 mil near me (southeast London).

Iloveeverycat · 26/10/2024 19:35

Where I live a 2 bedroom house would cost that price.

Zanatdy · 26/10/2024 19:35

Surrey. 1.5mil?

AgileGreenSeal · 26/10/2024 19:40

Storybot · 26/10/2024 19:10

DH is from Northern Ireland and we have toyed with the idea of moving there and having a massive house, but I generally don't think I can cope with the weather

Where are you currently living?
The east coast tends to have more sunshine than other parts of NI.
Think about maybe north Down / Ards peninsula sort of area. Beautiful scenery too. (It’s where I live 😊).

Thunderpants88 · 26/10/2024 18:57

Why?

The facade gives me the total ick. It looks like it’s made of Lego. It’s a mish mash of styles and as a result looks bland and fake. All that brown 🤢

Clearingaspace · 26/10/2024 19:41

4 million ish

DodoTired · 26/10/2024 19:41

2-2.5 mil (London)

Lilacbloomers · 26/10/2024 19:41

According to right move, there are 7 5 bed 3 bath detached houses in my area, and they range from 450-655

rubyslippers · 26/10/2024 19:41

£1.5 m or so

sarahsandy · 26/10/2024 19:42

1 million. I'm south east

Grepes · 26/10/2024 19:42

At least £10m, probably more, there’s not really any detached houses where I live, especially not with the outside space like that.

It’s a bit irrelevant it’s near a train station though for me, I’d need a helicopter to get to work on time!!

Vettrianofan · 26/10/2024 19:42

500k

WhatASadLittleLifeJayne · 26/10/2024 19:43

Iloveeverycat · 26/10/2024 19:35

Where I live a 2 bedroom house would cost that price.

What price?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 26/10/2024 19:43

5 beds in a RightMove search round my way are £700-£725 but only one is detatched and they're all extended .
So up into the loft and a box stuck on like a lego model.

Tiny gardens and some bedrooms less than 10'x5'8"

PickAChew · 26/10/2024 19:44

600-900k depending on exact location, age and condition.

JMSA · 26/10/2024 19:45

It wouldn't be seen as desirable in my area, as it's too modern. There are period - mostly Georgian - properties.
Nevertheless, it would go for around 2m on account of its size.

Lanzar · 26/10/2024 19:45

£2.5 - South Bucks depending on the village, walking distance to station and if in catchment of particular grammar school (due to 20% VAT on private school fees).

Hankunamatata · 26/10/2024 19:46

It's cheap because it's in Larne. Nearer Belfast or Hillsborough etc you would be looking 800k plus.
Love NI moved here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else

Beautifulweeds · 26/10/2024 19:46

Probably about 400 000

Isitjustmeoranyoneelse · 26/10/2024 19:48

Tuppence

Rewis · 26/10/2024 19:49

Depend on the m2 or ft2
(I really wish those were mentioned as a standard and you could filter based on size).

The chepsest would be 240k in the shit part of the city upto 1.3million in the desired part of the city (that I'm not keen on)
