About a talking skeleton?

A house which is sort of a few doors down/across from me has put up Halloween decorations including a fucking noisy skeleton

I've taken parcels over before and they don't answer the door - how can I phrase a note nicely to take the thing down or switch it off?
It was going off all last night at 2, 3, 4am where it says a phrase and then does some creepy cackling laugh

I don't mind it through the day but I wondered WTF it was last night and went out at 2am to see

Shove a note through the door asking them could they switch it off at night as it kept you awake

Well I did wonder that and also why none of the neighbours closer haven't yet broken it...
it was going off maybe every 20-30 mins

This. Complement it but as if they can turn if off by X time as the noise is sneaking into your sleep.

The other neighbours kitten is currently swinging off it so my issue might be solved shortly

They do a display every year but this is the first year with audio!

Yes, ask them to switch it off in the evening.
We have a skeleton that tells bad jokes, but we don’t put him up until just before Halloween-and we do switch him off at night. 😂

Turns out he banged on the door and they weren't in so he says he's going back later
The text he replied with was a lot of "have you heard that fucking skeleton? Fucking ridiculous. Being woken up by something laughing and thought we had a ghost, fucks sake, I was creeping around the house looking for the noise"

He lives closer than I do

Nearly shit myself when the manic laugh started from the illuminated bloody thing
God help us at Christmas, last year they had an inflatable Santa that blew away and caused traffic chaos
