Which celebrities/public figures give you the creeps?

For me the biggest one is Jacob Rees Mogg. He puts the fear of God in me. He reminds me of some villain in a horror film. If I see him on TV or a picture of him I actually get the chills.

I also find a really unsettling energy about Louis Walsh and David Walliams.

Meghan Markle. When you see the fake smile and the forced touchy feely demeanor, and you know how she treats people around her, you feel sorry for the ones she is pretending to be nice to. Quite unsettling watching someone who is always at the centre of toxicity and uses people as disposable things.That’s a narcissist right there.

Holly Willoughby also seems that way. Totally fake.

I don’t like Neil Gaiman as a writer because I find his books lacking in humanity- there’s nothing warm or generous or kind in them. Plus the Covid abandonment of wife and child and breaking of all quarantine rules. I always thought Amanda Palmer was just a blatantly exploitative grifter. And it just doesn’t surprise me that there are the kind of accusations against the pair of them that there are.

But until the accusations came out, I felt it was sort of something lacking in me that meant I didn’t ‘get’ them. Now I think I need to listen to my own self more!!

Trump is very camp and not in a funny way. Because David Lynch just died I was looking at scenes from his surreal horror film Blue Velvet and I think Trump could easily have slotted into the cast of grotesque villains.

I do find threads like this really unsettling. Especially when people appear to post the most unlikely names just to appear the most intuitive person in the thread. So everyone else says "Really? I'd never have thought it of him."
