What are you making for dinner?

Slightly boring post

We’re all inside today, Dd not that well, fancy making something nice for dinner, not roast yet, did lasagna and Spag bol last week. Did want to start using my slow cooker, but too late now to make for dinner (have to get ingredients etc)
Any ideas for a nice dinner on Sunday, maybe something autumnal maybe?

Chicken stew with dumplings and freshly baked bread. Apple crumble for pudding!

I don’t usually really cook (anything more than easy meals) but I need this today!

Cottage pie is great on Sunday, we do a big one and then no cooking Monday!
Today though we are having organic pork chops with mushrooms, mash and cabbage.

Sausage, bean and tomato casserole with roast potatoes and then red berry strudel with Baileys pouring cream and vanilla ice cream for dessert - in our house, Sundays are all about indulgence and comfort.

Either steak pie with mash & broccoli

vegan cumberland sausages, roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, onions and peppers and brussel sprouts. Tinned fruit for dessert!

Roasted veggie tray bakes feature heavily in my A/W dinners.

I think I'm going to do a pasta bake. Haven't had one for years and I've been really fancying one.

Rolled pork belly with sage and onion stuffing, roast asparagus, mash and gravy. Just done a butcher's run so they had rolled and stuffed the pork belly.

I’m making sausage and mash in giant yorkshires with lots of veg, stuffing balls and onion gravy. Cold here today so want something warm!

I'm not feeling well so cba to cook really BUT I will be making a go-to Thai curry with lemongrass, aubergines and prawns. That I'll bulk out tomorrow by adding more veg.

at the start of this thread I was doing roast chicken with stuffing, pigs in blankets, mash, carrots, peas, sweetcorn and gravy

I am now also having apple crumble with custard after reading the first page and going to the shop for apples to make one

I do love a Sunday at home with a lovely meal and dessert so looking forward to eating it now

MIL bought round a lasagne for lunch today so we are being super boring for tea and just having a tin of soup each with the part-baked crusty rolls & butter!

we are having a oriental inspired dinner (cannot find it anywhere in this country) I am making chicken fried rice , broccoli and chicken (beef sucks here so chicken it is) veggie spring rolls and a ginger garlic veg mix. Can hardly wait. BUT the husband is on the sofa watching football (american style) and his buddy has been texting about heading to the sports bar near us to watch the 4pm game, so god knows what time I will actually make it lol.

Curried lentil soup (actually all the veg left in the fridge drawer, I'm broke).

Cassoulet

Cubed pork steaks, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chorizo, cannellini beans. Served with broccoli. Warm, comforting, filling on a damp dreary Sunday 😊

I've just bought some toulouse sausages purely for making cassoulet.

Nice pork sausages, mash, onion gravy, peas, carrots and homemade stuffing.

Black bean flavour noodles and a salmon fillet. Easy, simple and uses up the salmon that needs to be eaten today.

We've got a chilli simmering away to have with tortilla chips, guacamole, soured cream, cheese and jalapenos. I've made a big batch so there's plenty to freeze for quick mid week teas. DH is working away a lot and I'm working a lot too, so need stuff I don't have to prep when I've got to dash out again in the evening.
