Invite code - Tattle

Is there any Tattlers amongst us who are able to generate me an invite code please? I have forgotten the password to my old account which is linked to an email I no longer have access to and it seems there is now restrictions on rejoining.

I would love a code if someone was able to send me one please 🙏
I've been reading tattle for 2 years and desperate to be able to contribute - not even very often, just once in a blue moon I see something and I really want to say something , like when I notice something I go straight to tattle, hoping someone else notices it and it can take ages 🤣
I promise I won't say anything bad to jeopardise anyone's current place on tattle.

If anyone has one could you send me one please, promise I won’t do anything to get you thrown off 😇 been after one for ages and can’t get one!
thank you x

I.am clearly missing something, I occasionally read tattle. Why do you need a code? what does that do?

I’d love a code if anyone has one please 🙏

You do now.

Basically, a while back a load of Mumsnetters begged for codes, lots were freely given, and some of those posters went on to the threads they thought were ‘vile’ or ‘disgusting’ to shit all over them and slag everyone off for posting on them in the first place. Lots of posters got banned off it. Mumsnetters are always trying to get codes. I’m just saying it’s not always the best plan to just hand one out without a second thought.

…this of why we don’t give codes out on MN

I'd forgotten all about my Tattle account, thanks 😊

Tattle codes don’t really exist. Tattle ran out of bandwidth or whatever it is that allows new members, so it came up with this mystical code system. Every now and then they clear the site of dead usernames and allow new registrations. You just need to check regularly for when registrations are open.

I figured that was the case - I used to post on there years ago during covid (lockdown boredom lol! and it was fun to have the company given I was by myself through most of the time - and some of the posters were actually incredibly good at giving interior decor tips - inbetween gossiping about boy band members from my youth lol!!
BUT I have since completely lost the login info - and requests to admin have gone unanswered...I was on there the other day to see if some of the old users I used to chat with were still there - and low and behold they were and were having a bit of a reminisce. It was a bummer not to be able to check in with them - especially as one has been having some kiddo problems from the looks of it.

So hopefully the registrations will open again. Or someone will send me an invite code...(though maybe this is the cosmic social media gods intervening to tell me I should do something more useful with my time than requesting opinions on which briwax shade to use, while also bickering about Take That lol!).

Yikes - I can see why they would be wary of giving out loads of codes. Though presumably anyone who got a code with the intent of just pooping over people would be pretty daft given the first moronic post they sent off would be pretty obvious trolling and they'd get blocked/booted.

I think some of the posters on Tattle (which I typically read when stuck on transatlantic plane rides! A fantastic time to chatter away) are very good writers and are very funny. It's also sweet that there are little communities of people on there who genuinely seem to care about each other. I do know one of my old law school profs who teaches family law will shamelessly use some of the gossip threads as the basis for their final exam fact patterns - saves them a ton of time thinking up crazy divorce/custody/pre nup situations 😂
