Invite code - Tattle

MummyAlwaysTo3 · 06/10/2024 10:19

Is there any Tattlers amongst us who are able to generate me an invite code please? I have forgotten the password to my old account which is linked to an email I no longer have access to and it seems there is now restrictions on rejoining.

OP posts:

To those asking for a code: do you think it's acceptable for grown adults to laugh at the appearance of innocent children? Children who never asked to be famous?

It's full on bitching with complete freedom and very little to no site moderation.

It's both good and bad

oh....😐

Fl20 · 08/10/2024 18:40

Bunch of bullies

LadyGrinningSoul8517 · 08/10/2024 18:42

ahemfem · 08/10/2024 17:30

Btw they have a thread about the lovely style and beauty posters where they laugh at their outfits. Nasty

The whole website is just glorified bullying.
Based on my experience on Mumsnet, I'm not surprised there are so many on here too.

CruisingDuck · 08/10/2024 18:44

Can I have a code please? I'm not going to troll or anything. I live in Brighton and hove..... hill brow area.... MOTWYW... 😘

RosieDAntonio · 08/10/2024 19:56

I've been after a code for ages if anyone has one they could pm me. Thank you

TillyKister · 08/10/2024 20:03

I've been logged out. Keep getting error messages when I try to log in. It won't let me do anything. Can someone send me a code please. I'll have to rejoin ☹️

DemocracyR · 08/10/2024 20:04

Please! If anyone has a code I’m desperate for one! One thread in particular has had me hooked for SO long.

To be fair not everyone is nasty on there. I've never engaged in any nastiness, and I'll be even more honest and say I've never seen anything nasty on the threads I've posted on. I guess mine are more lifestyle, fashion, advice threads. Yes the site hasn't got a great reputation, but that can be said about MN too.

DemocracyR · 08/10/2024 20:11

Mumsnet has become increasingly vicious over the years. To a point it isn’t recognisable. Yet apparently it’s about women supporting women.

The downright abuse of transgender people, the deliberate misgendering, the nasty comments. It’s rife here. All forums have a nasty little corner. Including mumsnet.

XiCi · 08/10/2024 20:15

I'm surprised when people on here say Tattle is nasty because I've been lurking on a few threads over there for a while and I've seen no evidence of that, quite the opposite in fact whereas posters on Mumsnet can be vile to other posters.

I'd love a code if someone could pm me one. I've been reading some of the threads over there for ages

Have a look on the Katie Price thread. There are numerous posts attacking the appearance of her children, including Harvey.

I'm no fan of Katie Price, but her kids are innocent and didn't ask to be famous.

They take pictures people have posted in style and beauty and openly mock them

Overheater · 08/10/2024 20:27

I’d also love one if possible. Obsessed with certain threads.

AutumnNymph · 08/10/2024 20:29

Could I have a code too please?

The majority of comments are slagging off parents for putting their unconsenting children out there.

Totally agree! You can't post a comment on Mumsnet anymore without someone launching an attack.

CruisingDuck · 08/10/2024 20:40

Please please please can I have a code!!? I've been watching a thread since thread number 1! It's now on 120! There's so much I want to say on it 😭😭🤣🤣 I wouldn't say anything that would implicate the member who gave me a code.

StrawberryWater · 08/10/2024 20:43

The thread I’m interested in has no comments on children. They won’t post pictures of them. I suspect the ones you are talking about are social media influencers using their children from likes. And the comments are directed at the parents performative dressing, pretend conversation and such of the kids? Not mocking children. Mocking their parents who have chosen to use innocent children to enhance their marketability.

Pippa246 · 08/10/2024 20:56

I am not a member of tattle but can read the reads - just can’t comment which I would never do anyway - it’s brutal!

quellequechose · 08/10/2024 20:57

I have been trying to get a code for 6 months - if anyone still has one pleeeeeease let me know.

HelloItsMeAgainHello · 08/10/2024 20:58

If anyone has a spare code it would be much appreciated!

ExtraOnions · 08/10/2024 21:09

Some bits are brutal, some bits are not… depends what you a looking for.

As a parent of an ASD child I find the ableism on MN pretty abhorrent.

I’ve also heard children referred to in the most disgraceful terms, and read posts where people were telling the OP to poison the neighbours child with laxatives to punish them for stealing chocolate.

I’ve seen blatant racism on here, (with associated lies).

people in glass houses!

Can’t seem to create a code

FanofLeaves · 08/10/2024 21:11

Think maybe there should be done caution exercised here about handing out codes, they might not all be genuine, some will only want a way in to troll. At least do a bit of research on the poster who asks you instead of handing them out like sweets.
