Invite code - Tattle

Is there any Tattlers amongst us who are able to generate me an invite code please? I have forgotten the password to my old account which is linked to an email I no longer have access to and it seems there is now restrictions on rejoining.

I love my Tattle account and no one is getting a code from me, if the random you give it to gets banned you’re going to be lobbed out too. I didn’t achieve VIP status to throw it all away on a random Mumsnetter 🤣The mods are clearly going to notice an influx of posters joining off the back of this and it’s breaking Tattle etiquette to give invite codes Willy nilly.

So the mods have a buddying system where each member is held responsible for the others (they invite) behaviour?

Basically, a while back a load of Mumsnetters begged for codes, lots were freely given, and some of those posters went on to the threads they thought were ‘vile’ or ‘disgusting’ to shit all over them and slag everyone off for posting on them in the first place. Lots of posters got banned off it. Mumsnetters are always trying to get codes. I’m just saying it’s not always the best plan to just hand one out without a second thought.

But Tattle has whole threads dedicated to threads running on MN and slagging off and taking the piss out of them and individual users all the time. Tattle users are also free to use MN.
So that seems a bit double standards really. Just saying!

if I gave a code to someone here their username name would be linked to my account as ‘invited by’.
if that person then caused any issues they would be banned along with me because I gave them the code.

probably why Tattle isn’t infested with trolls like this place.

Has anyone just been logged out, and not able to log back in again?

I just keep getting a message saying
Oops an email will be sent, and no email is sent.

I can't log in, change my email address or my password. It just keeps giving the same opps message.

Does anyone have any idea who you contact or an email address?

Tattle is ridiculous for closing constantly. I don’t know why they make it impossible to get on it when it’s only a gossip forum.

I used to have an account but found you couldn’t really say a lot.

Did anyone have luck getting a code? I did have a Tattle account a while back, but closed it stupidly, now I can't get back on 🙈

I dunno, I'm on both sets of threads and enjoy them! I post in S&B and read Tattle (and the Reddit spinoffs). I'm just not so fragile, I guess. If sartorial criticism upsets you, it's pretty easy not to go looking for it.

I tried to join Tattle today as I wanted to get involved in some sleb speculation that I knew MN wouldn’t approve of and it’s full! Apparently there’s little chance it will open again 😩
