What's going on with vinted?

Is anyone else having issues with Evri not appearing as an option for their buyers? It's definitely enabled in settings.

And also with royal mail being automatically enabled where you can't do anything about it?

I'm having this problem too regarding language change. I found uninstall and reinstall works every time ,need to do it often as its been happening regularly over the last few weeks ,hoping the glitch gets fixed soon

I’ve posted 3 things last week using Evri. Just checked my settings and RM was “on” but it’s allowed me to disable.

Also - my son sold something through FB marketplace and it came through as Evri standard via PO - so maybe there is some sort of collaboration going on??

Me too - if it doesn’t appear, make sure to update the app, it only allowed me once I did!

Something going on at Vinted.

I previously turned all shipping options OFF aside from Evri as that's my only local one. I turned Royal Mail off when it was randomly added a few months ago and I had to a cancel a sale of it being turned on without my knowledge. Just checked again after seeing this thread and it's been turned on again!

Also having major delays getting issues resolved through them too. Two parcels have arrived with me improperly pacakaged with contents broken and it's now two or three weeks down the line with no updates other than "we are working on the issue, check for update in 48 hours" being reiterated.

I'm losing faith with Vinted tbh.

I've put my account on holiday mode and and sent feedback to Vinted saying I won't be buying or selling on there until the stop forcing the Royal Mail option. I don't want to have to pay for the postage up front myself, and also don't want to pay more for a tracked service which the customer might not pay enough for!

Maybe if enough people complain, they'll reverse it. That's my hope!

It's been reversed now but I was googling during my lunch break and found out that apparently there are some sort of RM drop off boxes appearing in corner shops.

I am wondering if they'll force RM on us again once it's all set up properly and has integrated labels in the future.

Been able to turn RM off this morning, thankfully.

Have Vinted responded to complaints? Was it just a temporary glitch?? or something else???

Wouldn't it be nice if Vinted actually communicated with their customers.

I've just switched that option off, glad Vinted have changed their minds.

I don't mind using Royal Mail, if it's integrated like all the other options. Until then? Nope.

Switched mine off just now, and put my items back from holiday mode.
If it becomes integrated and there is a drop off location nearby for me I don’t have a problem with that. It’s the whole point of being able to choose whatever suits each person best. Don’t know if it was all the feedback they got or some other thing, but I’m glad for the moment. I will be keeping a close eye on it from now on though. I don’t sell a lot and it’s generally low value, but it is by far the easiest option for me trying to declutter all the kids clothes.

Royal mail sending has changed, so they've just re-enabled it for everyone. Just a heads up to those who want to turn it back off!

Having another issue and wondering if anyone's experiencing the same. Bought couple parcels via evri, sellers were sent inpost QR codes for posting my parcels. Can vinted change delivery method just like that? Thanks
