😂

Turquoise is clearly a shade of blue. A shade with lots of yellow in it, but still blue.

Freeasabird76 · 16/09/2024 23:52

I am a true neutral and also have a complete chatterbox of an inner voice.

LoveTheProms · 16/09/2024 23:53

RainBow725 · 16/09/2024 23:41

@FlingThatCarrot yes I agree. They should test with white in between each one.

I agree^
I can't have any fun because I'm pulling it apart and questioning the controls being used.

I'm 175 and 59% .......bla di bla.

EconomyClassRockstar · 16/09/2024 23:53

Did it twice, 180 and 175 and my turquoise is green. Which it is anyway!

HolyMoly24 · 16/09/2024 23:53

Ooh I got 183, bluer than 90% of the population. Fascinating

Turquoise is green for me which sounds about right

EconomyClassRockstar · 16/09/2024 23:55

I always found it a bit ironic that the Tiffanys box is named the Tiffany Blue Box when it's clearly green.

Opentooffers · 16/09/2024 23:55

@TheBers2024
Tried the panatone one, scored 0. Always suspected my colour assessment was accurate.
Clearly turquoise is a mix of blue and green, with hues at either end being either more blue or green, but if a middle hue then you can't put it in either category.

Talipesmum · 16/09/2024 23:57

Scored zero also on the Pantone one.

I just took off “night shift” on my phone and I get a different result on the blue green now!

Drizzlethru · 16/09/2024 23:57

Mine is 173, blue

CandyLeBonBon · 16/09/2024 23:57

TheBers2024 · 16/09/2024 23:37

I did that though colour test the Pantone one
https://www.xrite.com/hue-test
Was ok.

That's pretty cool. I'm a photographer/videographer and use photoshop/have to colour grade a lot, so colour recognition is really important! I got 4 so I'm pretty pleased with that when my eyes are tired and it's dark!

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 16/09/2024 23:59

Me and my DH often disagree on blue/green.
This test is interesting!

My DD sees it differently with her left/right eyes!
One of her eyes sees colour as a cold version and one is warm hued... I thought she was talking nonsense when she was telling me. But when I looked it up, it's a thing!
So she looks at things with both eyes or one or the other before deciding what she sees!

nougatcougar · 17/09/2024 00:00

My quiz said that my turquoise is green, but it was showing a colour I don't recognise as turquoise. Because to me turquoise is blue 🤣
I have so much turquoise jewellery, definitely blue.

Emptyandsad · 17/09/2024 00:02

I'm a bluey...

Do people just not know what Turquoise is?
Drizzlethru · 17/09/2024 00:02

Score of zero on other test

PigeonLady · 17/09/2024 00:03

I have done it twice on two different device and got entirely opposite results 😂

80% blue and 80% green.

Does everyone agree with the following breakdown...

I did the Pantone test and scored 0, which is apparently a perfect score.

CandyLeBonBon · 17/09/2024 00:04

I just did it again but took off night shift and got 0!!

GoldThumb · 17/09/2024 00:06

Talipesmum · 16/09/2024 23:57

Scored zero also on the Pantone one.

Ooh, forgot I had night shift on!

So now my turquoise is blue, and the blue-green mix up has disappeared from the Pantone thing.

If I had to describe turquoise I’d say ‘bluey-green’ , it’s in the middle to me I think.

Pretty much, but I have no idea what you mean by “arsenic” as a colour. I just think of it as the colour of the metal. I googled and apparently it’s a f&b paint but is it a generally known name for a greeny blue?

Arsenic to me is like a gun-metal to mustard-y yellow.
No blue or green at all?!?

BoreOffAboutYerChickensEmma · 17/09/2024 00:09

SunnySundayAfternoon · 16/09/2024 23:48

I had to do it twice.

I forgot I was wearing my blue blockers so nearly everything looked fookin green.

God, I'm a knobhead.

Same! 🤣

murasaki · 17/09/2024 00:11

DrFoxtrot · 16/09/2024 23:34

Ooooh interesting!

This was exactly my score.

The turquoise test is flawed, it just depends on your definition of a word, not how you see colours. This one - the Pantone one - is much better. I struggled a bit with the colours dancing around but finally pressed send on my selection - and amazingly I got a perfect score! At last, something I'm good at.

I think “Cambridge Blue” is green, and yet…
