Woke up not long ago feeling really sick then eventually threw up. DS was vomiting this exact time early hours on Friday so looks like I’ve caught that🙃 Why does this shit always happen at this time, just want to sleep😴 Hi to anyone awake!

I'm awake. I hate vomiting so you have my sympathy. I'd rather be in pain then vomit because at least you get some relief from pain killers. Get well soon.

Hope you feel better soon OP, and everyone else feeling sick or unwell… Nausea is a horrible feeling.

I’m awake as I often am… blooming insomnia. I try not to look at my phone during the night as I’m sure it doesn’t help me sleep but it does get dull lying awake for hours!

My husband was struck by a case of severe food poisoning a few nights ago. The only problem was we were stuck in the cinema when the nausea started …. At the end of a packed row trapped against the wall, and deep into the film. He just managed to hold it together but I was getting seriously worried about him. He later said he couldn’t risk standing up and leaving as he might have heaved over everyone. He was writhing and sweating that much I was worried he was having a heart attack or something … needless to say we haven’t a clue how the film ended!

He was ages in the toilets and sick all the way home. Had to keep stopping the car. Not a pleasant experience but luckily he’s on the mend now. 🤢

I’m bored of minions. Two trips up to empty sick bowls and I missed the good bit. And ideas on what to watch with DD9, DD14 and Dog? We are all a bit pissed off and miserable.

Looking like it’s an every hour thing🤢 hopefully that means it’ll pass quicker🤞🏼

i'm awake. This is day five of covid. After dodging it for four years it finally caught up with me.

I feel terrible. And in a couple of hours I need to crawl out of bed and drop DS at the school bus. 🙁

Have my first day at uni today and anytime I have to wake up early I always have a disturbed night. Woke at 2:45 and was trying to get back to sleep until 4.50 when I gave up as alarm is set for 6.
I'm going to be dead later 😭

@Meadowfinch Sorry you’ve got covid. It really sucked it out of me. Could you get someone else to drop DS at the bus stop? How are you feeling?

I think I'm getting there. The astonishingly high temperature and the aching kidneys have passed. Now I'm just cold, shivery, tired, bunged up and my eyes are all puffy.

I look hideous. But it'll pass. I'll drink lots of water and come back to bed later. 😷

I’ve been awake for a while after dog no 3 wanted to go out and found a hedgehog she barked at for bloody ages. Hedgehog not impressed, dog whining because I won’t let her out again and I’ve been getting up to check hedgehog is ok. Despite this I am hugely excited as this is hedgehog 🦔 no 2 this week. Definitely different as this one is smaller.

@Meadowfinch Thank You! I'm so excited to get started, I'm starting a bit late (I'm almost 25) but I've always wanted to go to uni and then things happened in my life. So I can't believe that I have actually got to this point

I didn’t get to sleep until almost 2, then woke up at 5:30. Same thing the night before, although I managed to get back to sleep. Have given up now (different time zone), so made a cup of tea. Have decided I might as well try and push on for the day and go to bed early tonight. OH is away in the UK, although YD is here on holiday. Big dog had to have his balls chopped off two weeks ago and is still wearing the cone of shame at night. He can’t decide whether he wants to sleep in my room or my daughter’s, so crashes around a lot.

Morning! Yep, I'm awake as I'm travelling for work and got a flight to catch, will be away for a week. Absolutely hate it. As a homebody I just get intense home sickness, but part of the job unfortunately. Hope you get better soon OP.

This sounds like classic Norovirus.
Had it really badly earlier in the year {assumed it was norovirus as 36 hrs of feeling and being sick - absolutely grim.
