Woke up not long ago feeling really sick then eventually threw up. DS was vomiting this exact time early hours on Friday so looks like I’ve caught that🙃 Why does this shit always happen at this time, just want to sleep😴 Hi to anyone awake!

I'm awake! Alarm woke me at 4am as usual but not fun because I've somehow developed a cold - probably from ds as he had one last week!

Hello, I'm awake too, listening to my little doggy snore on the sofa.

Watching Life on Mars and making a chicken burger and chips because it's totally normal behaviour at 4am!

I hope you all feel better soon, I'm only up at this time as faught a migraine all day, which made me feel sick, never got up till 5pm (couldn't physically get up any sooner).

I'm up. DD was sick this morning then absolutely fine for the rest of the day, she woke up an hour ago with stomach ache. I'm really hoping that's all it is and there's no more bleaching stuff needed.
Also hoping DS doesn't get it 🤞

That’s good news OP. Can I just say to everyone who is sick on this thread, buy some ORS/dioralyte please! You get so so dehydrated when vomiting that you can quickly worsen. This helps keep your body properly absorbing the hydration so you don’t end up severely dehydrated.

i buy these ones Dioralyte or these ones ORS

if you don’t have access to those and are continually vomiting dissolve 1/2tsp salt and 2 tbsp sugar in 1l of water, then see a doctor as soon as.

other tips are BRAT- bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. (Plain pasta, rice, soup also good) and baby food pouches. Easy to digest and get some calories and nutrition in.

if you haven’t kept anything down for 2+ days then see a doctor asap or call 111.

I'm up. Sorry you ( and others) are feeling rough.
I'm sat like goldilocks eating porridge before work, also with small dog snoring next to me.
Don't sleep, due to bloody perimenopause, heating came on at 2.14 so had to go downstairs and turn that off, and I've itched all night. In a and e yesterday getting antibiotics for insect bite that was nicely tracking up my arm and the leaflet with the anti bs assures me i will have nausea, sickness and diarrhea to look forward to. Joy!

I'm in the ED of a large teaching hospital in Dublin. They have no beds😭. Thanks for your kind offer though.

Coke is ok, take very small sips, I mean very small. Like a sip a minute. Then, see how you tolerate it.

I’m also up being sick 😖 hoping that’s the last of it now but I also have an awful headache and don’t think I’ll manage any sleep. And I twisted my ankle today too so I’m feeling very sorry for myself.

if you see someone coming past (and they aren’t obviously in a rush!) then talk to them about it. If not call the ED of the hospital and give them name and location and hopefully someone will come by soon.

Woke up about half hour ago and can't get back to sleep. Got to be up in 2 hours for a fun filled day of work & school runs.

I also really want a bowl of cereal.

@HowDidThisHappenDinesh Oh no😫 it’s horrible isn’t it. I hate being sick. How long has it lasted for you so far? I think even if I could sleep I’d have trouble considering how loud my stomach is gurgling😒

Sorry to hear your unwell - I hope it passes soon. I’m awake making a bottle for teething baby. Due a feed at 5am so I’m waiting for it to cool down before heading back to bed and feeding. I’ll be up for the school run at 6am and I’m so tired!

I’m awake because my poor dog shat herself at 2:30… had to let her out in the garden, clean and disinfect the floor then take her crate and blankets into the shower to hose all the poo off….yayyyyyyyyy

There is now no bread left so I put my bread machine on then realised I'd forgotten to put the paddle back in. So had to put my hand in squidgy half mixed dough.

Back to enjoying Jason Momoa with a cup of tea and my toast

I'm glad they found an excuse to keep him on our screens

Oof I sympathise . Had to strip both dds beds again, and clean bed frames and walls as projectile vomited on the wall . Now all three of us are on the sofa with bowls and blankets watching minions .

I wanted to go outside and bring in the towels I left out on the line but too afraid of going out alone at this time in the dark
