Accusing women of being men

Brigette Macron has just been awarded compensation after a rumour that she's a man went viral. Michelle Obama has also been accused of being a man as has Jacinda Ahern.

Why are famous women being accused of being men?

Well done, you’ve made the most ridiculous comment on this thread, and that’s saying something.

I was surprised, I must say.

I thought funding a female centered rape centre, Biera’s Place and airlifting over a hundred female lawyers and their families who were facing being murdered in Afghanistan was pretty fucking amazing, on top of the female centred Lumos and £15 Million to fund MS research especially for female people and a slew of other projects.

But obviously, Simon doesn’t think this is enough. Maybe Simon thinks Joanne Rowling is just mean to some special people. And maybe also has missed that the male people that JK Rowling has referred to as ‘men’ have been male people who have histories of abusing her over social media.

Maybe Simon believe that she has been mean to her abusers and should use her abuse’s preferred language and be kind to her abusers?

But yeah. She does fuck all for female people, obviously.

I think Michelle Obama might be a dude. I really do think Joan rivers might have been killed for exposing that. Stranger things have happened.

You really need psychiatric help. An absolutely revolting thing to say about another woman.

I don’t think she as accused of being a man per se but I definitely remember her being called ‘masculine’ as a way of explaining her utter lack of empathy. She wasn’t allowed to just be a successful woman in her own right either. I didn’t like her or her policies but she knew her own mind and was a fierce and determined woman. That had to be explained away (because women were supposed to be sweet and docile) and so she was labelled ‘masculine’.

Was president Mitterrand who said she had the Eye of Caligula and the lips of Marilyn Monroe?

It was. There was something wrong there.

Was just about to mention her age too, @Theeyeballsinthesky as something which might have inspired trolling.

I don't think she deserves criticism for being an older woman. She does deserve criticism for apparently starting a relationship with a teenager while she was in her late 30s. Ghastly woman. But a woman not a man.

People spread stories about women being men/trans because they want to imply they are ugly. Even very enthusiastic female supporters of TWAW are not normally happy to be mistaken for TW.
