Would you have sex-missionary with someone if offered money

Snoringfamily · 12/09/2024 23:34

If so, how much would it have to be?

Discussion at work quite a few years ago, inspired by the Demi Moore film. I was younger and had more money than now. If someone asked you to sleep with them for x amount of money-say half a million, would you? Missionary only, over quickly
I was aghast and said no, most said of course they would.

Now, I think I feel differently

Would you?

As long as they were not STD riddled or unhygienic (BO is fine) then absolutely I would. How much? Probably about £250k minimum. Enough to pay off my mortgage and live worry free. In fact can we find a way to do this - a C4 show perhaps. 🤔

LoopyLou67 · 13/09/2024 10:28

i mean it was good enough for Lauryn Goodman. Twice 😂😐

wintersgold · 13/09/2024 10:32

Yes, and I think (almost) everyone would for a certain price

Surprised at all the yes answers.

you’d really sell your body for some sweaty, gross man that thinks he can buy consent to use? 🤢

It’s a no from me!

Who said they’re sweaty and gross? They could be drop dead gorgeous.

@Kokomjolk I think it's naive to think everyone is the same, that's just the authors opinion ( and a valid one). People see and experience things differently, it's what makes us all individual.

Like I said In my last pp, I would feel sorry for the person having to pay for it, but others may feel sorry for the person being paid for it. Everyone's individual opinion is of course valid, but not the same for everyone ifswim.

Just to offer a different rounded perspective that's all.

InSearchOfMartin · 13/09/2024 10:23

I would if it was with Chris Hemsworth.

Exactly. People are saying no they’ll be gross and disgusting, as if you didn’t have a choice to just turn the offer down. How many would sleep with Chris Hemsworth or someone in his league for a big sum of money and no strings.

HerVagestyTheQueef · 13/09/2024 10:36

XMissPlacedX · 13/09/2024 10:23

@Chipsahoy yes dh knows I would expect 50% of whatever he 'made'

Exactly! We have a totally shared pot, so we'd not mind the other having their little, erm, side hustle 😀

Mintine · 13/09/2024 10:37

Cobblersorchard · 12/09/2024 23:43

Yes I would, absolutely. I’ve done far worse in my youth!
I’d probably do it for £50k I reckon, £500k and I’d do a whole football team.

Alas I’m fairly sure absolutely no-one would pay £5 these days.

Hahahaha that made me laugh. Yes I would do it as well!

42tabsaday · 13/09/2024 10:38

Depends how broke I was - I'm not, so I wouldn't.

ehb102 · 13/09/2024 10:38

The damage it causes you mentally would not be worth it.

knittingdad · 13/09/2024 10:38

But most people would sleep with Chris Hemsworth (or someone in that league) with no money changing hands, so the money is irrelevant to that scenario.

The point of the money is to have sex when you wouldn't have sex if the money wasn't involved.

Fancypopop · 13/09/2024 10:39

I think it's naive to think everyone is the same, that's just the authors opinion ( and a valid one). People see and experience things differently, it's what makes us all individual

Exactly. I’ve slept with men in my 20s who I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole now. If I could go back in time and not do it I would, but it certainly doesn’t keep me up at night and it hasn’t scarred me even a tiny bit. It’s just something I did in the past and I never think about it now. This would be the same.

It would make me feel rather powerful to think a man was paying that much money and I certainly wouldn’t feel like a victim. Quite the opposite.

I appreciate everyone is different. Fully respect that. But that author doesn’t speak for me, I am not her and she is not me.

NetballHoop · 13/09/2024 10:40

Those of you who would. Just imagine that you agree to it and it turns out that it's Donald Trump that you have to have sex with. I don't think there's enough bleach in the world to wash that image away.

HerVagestyTheQueef · 13/09/2024 10:42

I hate that "Yes, we've established what you are..." shit misogynistic "joke".
Not only does it take the position that punters, pimps, johns paying for sex is absolutely fine and it's the woman who's morals are questionable; there's also an element of 'clever man getting the better of stupid woman'. Gross.

It's disappointing that women are quoting here like some kind of gotcha.

NotMyCircusss · 13/09/2024 10:45

No.

SpiderPlanter · 13/09/2024 10:49

I just want to flip this for an extra layer - what about if someone offered your spouse/partner the money?

Would you be happy for them to do it and change your lives?

PlayDadiFreyr · 13/09/2024 10:49

When people talk about you can't buy consent, I do always think that my work but my consent to sit at a desk 35h a week.

For a million, I'd get all those hours back and more. I don't know of any man being able to go at it for 35h. So it's a bargain.

Is it taxed though?

TheEyesOfLucyJordon · 13/09/2024 10:50

No. Absolutely not. I'm single, so nothing spoiling there. But, still no.

I have more than enough money for my the life I want. An additional £500k/£5m/£500m would make no difference to anything 😊

Eyeslikethesea · 13/09/2024 10:50

I’m a 47 yo woman whose husband hasn’t come near her in nearly 8 years. I would probably pay them lol

XMissPlacedX · 13/09/2024 10:51

@PlayDadiFreyr 'is it taxed though' Grin valid question

Growlybear83 · 13/09/2024 10:51

Absolutely not. I'm married and would never consider cheating on my husband. It would make no difference if he knew and condoned it either, although if he was willing to accept me having sex with someone else, that would be the end of my marriage.

Cantabulous · 13/09/2024 10:54

Absolutely fucking not.

apostrophewoman · 13/09/2024 10:55

Synchronisedwitches · 13/09/2024 01:11

Would you suffer missionary sex with a portly middle aged man who voted Reform and talked constantly about fishing... for a 5 bed house with a spa pool, in the Cotswolds?

Abso-fucking-lutely!

I'd do it in a heartbeat.

PlayDadiFreyr · 13/09/2024 10:55

SpiderPlanter · 13/09/2024 10:49

Ooh, and what if it was 500k each for one of you to sleep with someone else?

I personally wouldn't mind it and wouldn't consider it cheating if we both knew about it first.

Cheating is lying and concealment and breaking promises. Not the act of sex itself.
