Discussion at work quite a few years ago, inspired by the Demi Moore film. I was younger and had more money than now. If someone asked you to sleep with them for x amount of money-say half a million, would you? Missionary only, over quickly
I was aghast and said no, most said of course they would.

I'm single so I wouldn't be destroying a relationship. Would do it for £500,000 and give the money to my daughter, her partner has run off with someone else,leaving her with a young baby and struggling financially.

Depending on the amount of money needed and my current relationship status I would definitely think about this.

I wouldn’t do it for money. However, I am job-hunting at the moment and it is so soul-destroying (despite great qualifications and lots of experience) that I would be quite happy to consider an indecent proposal from the chair of an interview panel!

I have met many married couples where the wife is a tiny, attractive woman from a South East Asian country and the husband is a much older, much less attractive white English man (mail order brides in less PC times).
Those women are always dressed very nicely, have lovely bags, watches, shoes etc, but I do sometimes look at them and think: is it worth it to have him huffing and puffing on top of you twice a week? Not to mention the chauvinistic way in which the husbands speak to their wives.

However, for a one off worth 500k/a million, and never having to clap eyes on them again - I could be persuaded!

I'm sure some do but you speak as though it's a certainty. I can easily separate physical sex from any sort of personal feelings and if by doing this I cleared my mortgage and had savings for my kids I absolutely would. And I'd happily justify it to anyone who cared to ask. The only way it's "shameful" is if you think sex for a woman is somehow bad unless she has a ring on her finger.

If I were in some kind of dystopian situation and my kids were starving then yes.
