Yep this. ^ I don't know why she put up with him for 25 years. He talked to her like she was an idiot half the time. They said it was 'banter' when people commented on Twitter and suchlike, but it looked more dark than that. I think he knew he was punching WAY above his weight, and he negged her.

Objectively I'd say she is more attractive than Ruth - partly cos of her age but also just in general.

This happens a lot. These men will marry absolutely stunningly beautiful women and then trade them in for very unremarkable but young women who are no comparison to their first wives in their prime.
