Feral children

Several children, have been arrested in connection with the death of an 80 year old dog walker.

What is wrong with children today? I remember the Bulger case and it sent shockwaves around the world, now people just accept that children kill.

Because hard working families tend to hold it together much more and have aspirations for their children.

You can almost guarantee they ( The parent/s will be on benefits.

Edited

Hard working families can also be recieving benefits.

On the Asian kids wouldn't do this comment I have seen several murder cases where they were Asian. Always a bad few people in a race.

MichaelandKirk · 03/09/2024 21:48

MsLavender - these feral kids will not be from middle class backgrounds with two parents at home. They will have been dragged up by a parent who is clueless and puts themselves first all the time. And when something like this happens they bleat they couldn’t do anything to control their kids.

They are a disgrace to society. It’s almost always the parent who has allowed this to happen.

There is a lot more information about the poor man who has been killed on the Mirror website. Very much loved family man by all accounts and popular in his community. Wife, adult children and grandchildren are of course devastated. Apparently, he had a confrontation with some local children recently

"Friends said popular Bhim, a former factory owner, was spat at by teen yobs outside his home earlier this summer. He called police after being subjected to vile abuse when he told them off for climbing on a neighbouring garage roof."

Of course at this stage it is only speculation that this is connected to his tragic death. My heart goes out to his family and friends, what a tragic and horrific end to this man's life

I know a single mother whose 13 year old son came home whinging that he'd been kicking a ball against an elderly neighbour's wall, it had gone over and the elderly woman had refused to give it back. She was livid. She frogmarched him round there, made him apologise, gave the elderly woman her phone number and told her to call if her son ever did that or anything like it again and then made him give the ball to a charity shop. She then found signed him up to a cheap local football club so he could play sport without being a nuisance to anyone. He is now a young man who has turned out really well.

Hereforaglance · 03/09/2024 21:54

The kids most likely brought up in the don't care system with no parents through no fault of their own and multiple foster parents expecting them to be happy and act like orphan Annie's all singing n dancing then this happens and everyone asks why

Fucking 12? My youngest son is 12 and we’ve spent the day geeking over airplanes. Which is what 12 year olds should be doing.

It astounds me. I have no words.

Absolute bollocks. There are many middle class/upper class parents who barely see their children and assume they'll be just fine because of their wealth and the peers they interact with. On the other hand there are many parents on benefits who are fighting tooth and nail for their children to have a better life than they've had and would do anything to drag them out of the poverty pit and all that comes with it.

Not many many middle class wealthy families known to Social services or running feral.
Partying hard, yes, but violent crimes aren’t their cup of tea.

Oh but I imagine she didn't have tattoos. Or a dog. 🙄

Just awful.

I do think we need to start prosecuting parents as well. You are responsible for your kids. So many of them just don't care.

Yes, in the same way that we as adults are culpable if our dog injures someone.

ITT: A lot of prejudices against "inferior people", being lived out with Olympic levels of vitriol.

Nipping a problem in the bud. Showing respect to society. Well done that mum. Her son must be grateful for the good parenting he received.

Absolutely. Middle class neglect of children is a concern in our schools.

Also, the majority of benefits claimants work.

No, I'm just saying that if you do actually discipline your children and care about their behaviour instead of always taking their side and making them feel hard done by, then it works.

Disgusting classism on this thread from you and others. I'm not going to try and convince you or others that middle class children are just as capable of such horrific acts, you can do your own research, Google is free. What I will say is that under privileged children have gone on to create amazing lives for themselves and those who have had everything handed to them on a golden platter have committed crimes that would make your hair turn white. The speculation on this thread that this crime must have been committed by white kids whose parents are on benefits is vile. Oh how it must be to live in your little naive bubbles.

That comment of mine wasn't intended to be serious. Yes of course there's evidently something very wrong in the backgrounds of these children, but your posts are dripping with stereotyping and snobbery.

My parents neighbours house is next to a jitty where kids congregated.

Apologies for the derail, but: Thanks for the vocabulary enhancement!

Sorry further derailing.....oddly enough my boss at work commented on jitty! Had to explain it means a cut through and she had never heard it. Think its a derbys/staffs crossover word as we are right on the border and no one outside the area seems to have heard of it! Bit like mardy used to be.
