To ask how you make a chip butty?

Mine is a white bread bap, butter, salt, vinegar, chips and ketchup. All sorts of rubbish being spouted in my office earlier about salad cream, beans, toasted brioche! How do you do it?

It's a chip barm.

Thickly sliced white bread, lashings of salted butter, hot home made chips, mayonnaise on the side for dipping. Perfection!

Exactly as you said. In the absence of a roll 2 slices of cheapo supermarket white bread with butter will also do nicely.

Dry air fried sad potatoes with all life sucked out, 3 chips per person, on homemade brown rye and sourdough chia seed massive salad infused bread. No seasoning and heaven forbid a condiment goes anywhere near.

Of course you’ll only be able to manage two mouthfuls between a family of four.
