What would you do with £10k? Right now, if you won 10k, what would you do with it?

A holiday.

Save it.

Stuff to the house. Carpets.

£2k Start a pension for DD
£5k Holiday
£2k Payment to mortgage
£200 Dinner out somewhere fancy
£500 Pay for all the back to school clothing and books for DD (going into sixth form, costing me a fortune!)
£300 spa day with massage

Spend 1k on jewellery for myself and split the remainder between two adult DC.

Spread my Dad's ashes in Canada. They've been sat waiting for 14 years...

Replace my 30 year old conservatory. Give me the money now!

Print my book.

Buy another dog.

Tough one because I need to move house so I was thinking put it into the house fund but that just feels like I wouldn't see it.
I'd have to put most of it in savings so I don't do something stupid.
Pay someone to fix my back?

Buy a new car for DH

Save it. I have 1dc at university and 2nd will go in a couple of years. Expensive times!

Holiday

Refurb the bathroom.

Half to pay of debts we have, other half to spend on things we want/need:
Finish some DIY on the house
Holiday (weekend at centre parcs or week away abroad somewhere)
New bike for youngest (she always get second hand from her brother)
Nice meal out to celebrate
Anything left into savings for future holiday fund.

A few grand on an emergency buffer fund, the rest on finishing the house refurb.

If I won it, I'd replace my car. (Because I need to, not just because I want to)

I’m about to buy a new car so would put it towards that and leave my money in the bank!

Pay the 2k off the credit card, a holiday and home improvements.

A complete garden makeover, possibly including a little conservatory.

Repair my roof + new flooring or new bathroom.

Give £1k to each of our (adult) kids and spend the rest on parquet flooring for our new flat.
