What would you do with £10k? Right now, if you won 10k, what would you do with it?

And buy the cats lots of cheesey dreamies 😁

Stuff loads in my savings. Learn about investing and then invest some. Treat myself to some hobby specific things off my wish list. Any leftover, sort some things in the house.

Changing my answer. Forget the savings I want the butler dog.

Travel around the States.

Do up the house and take dc and dgc away.

New carpet and sofa.

I'd fantasise about all the lovely things I could do with it like installing a new shower before the flakey thermostat goes completely kaput and then I'd put all of it in the school fees account at least until after the budget 🙄

I might see if it were possible to have my jaw wired shut privately for 6 months because of my crap self control and burgeoning weight but that might be awkward with work.... ?

Replace my broken and leaking water tank. Do the driveway which currently keeps flooding.

Put £5K in a tracker fund. Put £5K in a very high risk financial product and hope for the best.

Breathe a sigh of relief and put it in my fund for house repairs.
Either that or pay off some of my mortgage.

Pay off debts, mostly the outstanding finance on my car and swap it for something cheaper to run with less mileage.

Pay off the holiday I've booked for next year, retile and decorate the bathroom and buy the Doberman butler that @FatmanandKnobbin posted about.

Oh and also fix parts of my house so I can move asap.

Put it in the DC university fund along with the rest of our savings 🙄

Put it towards the new kitchen we've been wanting since we moved in.

New car, pay off a loan. I'd use the rest ( probably £2k) for spending on a holiday I've already booked. So I'd buy a few nice outfits and get taxis to go out for dinner every night rather than stay in at the villa.
