Where is Keir Starmer?

Does anyone else find it weird Keir Starmer isn't more visible this week? He hasn't held a press conference in days, wasn't obviously present at No. 10 after the Cobra meeting and won't recall parliament. Surely he can't have actually gone on his holiday when the UK is in meltdown?

What they have done due to a lack of front line officers is pool forces and ship officers around to support other areas.

What this meant last night is in our fairly decent size city we had six front line officers on duty, SIX, two had to go on hospital watch leaving four, by the time night shift ended this morning there was 92 calls waiting for officer attendance.

Oh and to add to the “full force of the law” there are no prison places to the point an Operation is currently being prepare to release hundreds of prisoners early to free up places.

A good PM has to use super-tough language, preferably with military allusions - “standing army” would be good - while speaking with all the force and personality of the vicar in Dad’s Army.

He has been visible and has stated clearly how this situation is going to be managed.
