To not want to see t*ts on the beach??!

1000 replies

TittiesOutPutThemBack · 30/07/2024 12:34

Just that really!

on holiday at the mo and I cant even count the number of times I have seen topless women sunbathing at the beach… next to kids!…on non-nudist beach!

I really don’t want to see titties out in the middle of the day

on top of that I don’t fancy my teenage boys or even my DH having a look at them either

its obvious they’re coming from certain European countries ! Do they have no sense of what’s right or wrong ?

Breasts are private otherwise we d all take them out in the office too

Well that's rubbish argument, it's not acceptable for anyone to be topless in an office, male or female.

I honestly cannot understand why you seem to be so angry about it? What difference does it make to you and what are you so offended?

It's not something I could get worked up about. And if you're worried about your husband and son having a good look, well frankly they shouldn't.

The discussion didn't go the way OP hopes so is now reduced to creating scenarios in her head to be offended about. Classic manipulative misdirection.

Cas112 · 30/07/2024 14:34

'Tits' are a normal part of anatomy. It's you sexualising them OP

Why don't you give it a try, you might find it freeing. Live a little or stop whinging about others who are

Stay home in your twinset then OP if you can’t handle a perfectly normal practice that’s been common for decades.

I don’t want to have to see or hear prude judgmental pearl clutchers making cats bum faces when I’m relaxing on the beach.

idctbfh · 30/07/2024 14:35

For those saying they would go on a beach topless, would you do it in front of your teenage son or father? If not, why do you think it’s okay to do it in front of somebody else’s?

GoldSloth · 30/07/2024 14:36

😂😂

Pharticle · 30/07/2024 14:36

I’d better shield my 4 year olds eyes as I’m breastfeeding his baby sister right now- won’t someone think of the children????

WiddlinDiddlin · 30/07/2024 14:36

I can't shift the mental image of the OP, pursed lips, affronted scowl... trundling round with a clip board to quiz all the bare-breasted sunbathers as to their nationality...

I mean how else is she to determine who is local, or ... European!!!!!

Human males are attracted to lots of things. Many are attracted to children, so that ruins your argument, however they are attracted to women, biologically, for reproductive purposes. Sex is for reproduction on a very basic level.

Yea we enjoy it, yea we now have ways of stopping pregnancy, but sex, puberty and everything else involved is for having babies, not to find each other sexy. You find someone sexy for reproductive purposes.

It’s the absolute basic of life.

Your argument is empty and weird.

Yes, you find someone sexy for reproductive purposes. And that is why males find females who have the bodies that can reproduce sexy. And that is why they find those bodies physically arousing.

Just as women find male sexually mature bodies sexy, but not little boys bodies.

Trying to decouple sexually maturity from sexual attraction, as you are, is what is weird.

The fact that this goes wrong in some men and they have sex with children (and these men are a minority) is no more evidence for your case than the existence of gay man and lesbian women is evidence that humans don't exist to reproduce after all.

All these arguments trying to decouple sexual maturity from sexual attraction are really illuminating examples of how people can be so captured by an ideological position that they will try to argue a position that clearly makes no sense, and is counter to all our experiences and observations of the world. .

I would, yes. I don’t think the female body is shameful, and I hope to raise my son with this mindset too.

Get off your phone and enjoy the holidays.
Go grab a cocktail and read a book 😄

Yes. I did when I was a teen, my dd's have. Shock horror, we walk around naked in the house too. OP faints in horror.

I get the different culture mentality but I dont have to accept it, for now they’re forcing their “culture” on me and other ethnicities that do not have to go through this

funny how I should accept this crap but they don’t realise there are diverse families around (from non European countries where this is pretty offensive) and there is absolute disrespect for any of this

as I said they can do whatever they want but in a separate area!

So if a family from a country where the burka is the norm comes to the UK on holiday, you would happily wear a burka too, because you would not want to force your culture on them, @TittiesOutPutThemBack?

Or would you think that they should accept the culture that they are visiting?

FKAT · 30/07/2024 14:40

This thread is nuts.

But the most nuts part of it is the people who think that being by a beach or pool is analagous to going supermarket shopping or chatting with an older male relative.

Have you not thought for a minute why an activity where you swim and sunbathe might require fewer clothes than picking up items from the freezer section and carrying them to the bus stop? It's like saying "Wear a fleece onesie do you?? WOULD YOU WEAR IT TO YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S FUNERAL???"

Actually the evo-psych fans who said tits evolved because men like looking at them might be the nuttiest. Jesus.

Yes, I would have, just as my mother did when my sister and I were teenagers. Why not?

sanityisamyth · 30/07/2024 14:41

Titties 🤣🤣🤣

They're just body parts. If you don't want to see them, don't look. I bet all the blokes have got bare chests. Why not the women?

KnittedCardi · 30/07/2024 14:41

OP has to be a troll. Literally no-one, ever, would go on holiday to Europe and be shocked that people sunbathe topless.

Where are you OP. Is this your first time on a European beach? What are you wearing?

No im not. I. Pointing out facts. Female bodies change for reproduction and males find that attractive. You were insisting that female breasts and hips change so that men find them attractive. That’s the wrong way round.

End of. If you can send me a scientific paper that agrees with your theory that women’s bodies have evolved for men to find them sexy and not for reproductive reasons which men THEN find attractive tennis be happy to read it.

Until that point, you’re reasoning that breasts change so that men find them attractive is, scientifically, incorrect.

Have a nice afternoon, I look forward to reading the paper you source.

Gettingbysomehow · 30/07/2024 14:41

Reminds me of the time I went to the nsturist beach and several tuts and loud angry mutterings later realised I was on the wrong beach.
