Sickening behaviour. Surely tasering the man is enough.
He is on the floor tasered so you give him some kickings to the head?

Hope this is properly investigated.
Greater Manchester Police have an awful reputation.

Why did you bring it up then if you're not going to discuss its relevance?

Yes I am angry when people are so quick to criticise the people that get paid little to protect me from violent criminals, why the heck wouldn't I be?

The 2020 incident was mentioned by another poster, who posted some fake news from Twitter, so I went to have a look at what actually happened.

I was struck by the difference in the way the two incidents involving thugs attacking police ended. No kicks in heads, no pepper spraying of bystanders etc. in the 2020 incident.

Where's the video of the incident then, all I see are photos of the injured officer?

There was one thug acting here and not two wasn't there? How many officers were they to deal with and how did they do so? Were there any guns involved?

GeraniumJenny · 28/07/2024 18:27

Males beating up smaller females. Utter scum.

How many of us will wake up to go to work tomorrow wondering how many fights I will get into what abuse I’ll take today will I get hurt,
can my nerves take much more of this
police and prison officers think this every working day remember they are humans before they are police or prison officers.
remember we can only judge by our I life experience if you think you can do better then give it a try!!

But many of us won't have signed up for jobs which allow us to havepower over others.

It’s lucky people do turn up given this violent attack is possible

Mock all you like, sweetheart.

Every single incident of police behaving unlawfully whittles away at public confidence in the insitution as a whole, which is already very low.

After seeing the new video, I have more respect for the police. Who wants to volunteer to deal with god-awful violent scum like the ones in this incident?

I worked for a while in an SEN (more SEMH tbh) unit attached to a school. We had members of staff punched/kicked in the stomach while pregnant, two ambulance incidents (one ended up being broken ribs, one concussion), one young (apprentice) member of staff sexually assaulted (procedure changed after that), being sworn at and threatened daily, being spat at, attached with chairs, fire extinguishers ,tables, objects thrown around and classroom trashed, one member of staff chased and threatened with a gardening hoe (massive failure of the site manager there) and many, many more. Police also got attacked, rocks thrown at them and were spat at when they attended for various reasons.

We never hit back, swore back, kicked or punched back, even in self defence, but if we did I can guarantee you , no one would've gone "aww, there ,there you lost your temper. It was adrenaline. It's all good."

If you speak to NHS staff and other first responders you'll hear even worse. None of us have the training, the right to defend ourselves or others, have adequate backup or weaponry to defend ourselves.

Indeed. A lapse of judgement in those circumstances absolutely understandable and forgivable.

If I'm ever in a deteriorating and frightening situation I hope there's a PC about like the one who dealt with these arseholes. Not some jobsworth busy doing a risk assessment lest they 'undermine themselves', whilst the thug briefly incapacitated suddenly finds his feet and starts again.

Yes neither did you have guns that could be grabbed and turned on you at a moments notice. Ffs I can't believe this thread still going. Just cease the speculation and let the people with all the info look at the evidence!

AhBiscuits · 28/07/2024 18:57

The sight of those two cunts sat on the sofa with their lawyer, doing their compo sad faces makes me feel sick. They must balls of steel knowing what they did in the lead up to the incident.

Have you run into many non Muslim women with whom you have had the same conversation?

You do know Muslim women move amongst us. They are just going about their business, working, busy and so on. How ridiculous some of the assumptions are.

What? I have absolutely no idea what your question is? Trying asking something remotely coherent please.

Yes but it’s not their job to restrain and arrest those people the police are called to do that on a daily basis

Seems like anecdotal evidence to support the fact that we shouldn't be criticising the police here. Obviously being unable to defend yourself against violence without fear of overstepping is creating problems.

Usercyzabc · 28/07/2024 19:27

The bar is so low as to what is deemed socially acceptable these days. I don’t want to live amongst scum bags who deem instigating this sort of violent behaviour acceptable, and that goes for those excusing it too as far as I’m concerned.

These individuals played fuck around and find out with armed police, and are now crying to the daily mail via their corrupt lawyer who was most likely trained by the same university as some on here.

I am disgusted by it all, including the virtue signalling. Raise your standards.

Yes other first responders deal with violent people, however, when the stuff really hits the fan who do they call. The Police.
