Admitting to killing his sister and getting away with it

I could weep after reading this. But mostly I’m just angry. How in gods name has this happened? I know some don’t like DM links but the facts are that a man punched his sister in the head, killing her, and admitted doing so yet will face no charges. Sickening.

The parents are as guilty as he is. I hope someone is keeping a close eye on those poor younger siblings.

Also his face should be plastered all over the paper.

I'd think it'll already be online? It wouldn't be too hard to crowdsource his identity surely?
As per a pp I can't help thinking there must be some inaccuracy in the news report.

Bagpuss2022 · 24/07/2024 00:33

Absolutely disgusting poor poor girl also why are the two younger children not being removed by SS? Surly they are a danger their sister was killed by a adult brother.

Exactly this. They should be removed for safeguarding. The poor kids are probably traumatised from witnessing what happened too.

BobbyBiscuits · 24/07/2024 01:10

What a sick family to try and protect the adult son who admitted in the text messages he killed her! They prevented the two younger ones who witnessed the killing from speaking to police. I don't even see how that part can possibly be legal?
Absolutely disgusting. RIP another poor innocent female child. Killed by a male family member.

Teentaxidriver · 23/07/2024 23:57

I imagine CPS/ police are scared of being accused of racism, hence no charge.

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time.

Even if the child did have an underlying health issue and he didn’t mean to kill her, the fact he a grown man forced his way into a room and punched an 11yo girl in the head should still be punished and there is nothing racist about that.

Worth emailing Jess Phillips on this horrendous case?

slammmer · 24/07/2024 02:00

I think that we can safely say that the Mohammed's have no honour and have disgraced their religion.

fearfulexchange · 24/07/2024 02:14

Disgusting, that was an awful read. That poor little girl, shame on them all.

mandarindreams · 24/07/2024 02:45

Horrifying but not surprising. Sibling on sibling domestic abuse is often trivialised and this is the natural end point. I know a lot of people (female and male) who grew up with violent siblings and who were told they'd just have to live with it because nothing could be done to remove their abuser.

biscuitandcake · 24/07/2024 02:47

I hope the girlfriend (whom he texted his confession to) is OK and doesn't suffer any negative consequences from the CPSs crapness. Reading between the lines it sounds like she did the right thing by the little girl. It's awful if she made the (difficult but 100% morally correct) choice to report and the police did fuck all.

biscuitandcake · 24/07/2024 02:47

I also hope she stays away from the punchy fucker.

Allthehorsesintheworld · 24/07/2024 03:24

And presumably he still lives with the younger children who could be at risk?
Hope the girlfriend has seen him for what he is.

Violence against women and girls a “National emergency” yet CPS have let this child down so badly. And in doing so could leave the younger children at risk.

What kind of vile people would protect the person that killed their daughter?! The adults all deserve to rot in hell.

All of this. If you have a violent sibling, there is nowhere to turn. Not parents, not schools, not police. Speaking from experience.

T1Dmama · 24/07/2024 04:28

How can parents stop police talking to the other children?? Surely this is wrong… there’s been a murder and the parents should be over ruled!

THIS!

Chickenuggetsticks · 24/07/2024 04:51

At the very least he admitted to punching an 11yr old in the head and she ended up dead. He could have been charges with ABH I would have thought. I saw this yesterday and was absolutely disgusted. Poor girl, you would have thought her life was worth something to her own parents.

Savemydrink · 24/07/2024 05:48

Birdseyetrifle · 23/07/2024 22:39

Sadly it doesn’t surprise me that they are protecting the male in this situation rather than getting justice.

protected species

Chickenuggetsticks · 24/07/2024 05:55

The fact that a grown man punched his little sister in the head and his parents instinct is to protect him suggests to me that he has been violent before towards her. You don’t go from zero to punching a child in the head. I literally don’t have the words, I am just so utterly disgusted by this.

You can also do both, you can love your son despite him being scum and expect that he’ll take the consequences of his actions.

They may as well legalise violence towards girls and women, it’s practically legal already.

Unfortunately we don't know if the girlfriend reported him. The text messages may simply have been uncovered from his phone in the investigation. I hope she is okay and I hope if she didn't report it that it didn't come from a choice to protect him like his parents.

If he'd lunches bloke on the street who hit his head & ended up dead the police would doo something

The males of the family closing ranks and covering each others backs. They want to make sure they can carry on treating women girls like rubbish so that they can never be a threat to male dominance.
How can this stand up? Dont we have laws in our country, arent we supposed to be civilised. Why do we tolerate this primitive tribal mindset?

There is evidence of the mother and grandmother closing ranks and covering up the crime. There may be male figures involved but there are plenty of toxic females as well.
As for the lack of concern for that child's life, it is Rochdale, it all seems a part of a pattern in the UK.
