I don’t think it was staged at all though. I’m more conservative than Labour but even I think a Trump win would be disastrous. We live in scary times at the moment with so much going on around the world. I think Trump is guaranteed a win at this point and really hope that Starmer will increase the funding of our armed forces because if Trump wins we can wave goodbye to any special relationship we had with the US previously.

The FBI have named the shooter as 20 year old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Pennsylvania. Images on Twitter are suggesting he was a registered Republican voter, but this has not been confirmed.

CNN mentioned that the shooter has donated money to Democrats in the past.
