Its only a minority that wish to give zero rights whatsoever to transgender people. Starmer will further these rights without doubt.

Why don’t many transwomen care about what many women - you know, the people they ‘feel’ like - FEEL? Why don’t they care about their sisters? Why is that?

You do understand that height variable and there are both average differences as well as considerable overlap in the height distribution across different social groups (eg by sex, ethnicity etc)?

And you do understand that it’s offensive and discriminatory to make universal declarations about the character/ appearance of a social group based on generalisations and stereotypes?

If you don’t understand these things, I’m afraid I can’t help you.

All the news media referring to him as a woman when these are the crimes of a man.

This is another totally extraordinary aspect of it all. Men's crimes being reported as women's. Police looking for information on 'women' when they really mean men (regarding both victims and perpetrators of crime).

How is this a better situation than simply reporting the truth of the sex of the person involved? Who thinks this is a good idea?

Funny how you reply to that message but not any of the ones inquiring exactly how people can be born in the wrong body ...

Transgender people already have the same rights as anyone else. No one thinks they shouldn’t have ‘any rights whatsoever’. They shouldn’t get additional rights to go into spaces where they shouldn’t because of feelings. No one else gets that.

If all the posters complaining about "transphobia", "hate", "transphobes", "bigotry", "derailing" etc etc etc actually came out with some decent, justified arguments for once instead of avoiding questions, making unevidenced statements and flouncing, this thread would be a far more enlightening discussion.

It's so easy to fling the word "hate" around when what you actually mean is "somebody disagreed with me and I can't cope with that".

It's a faith based position. 'You cannot reason a person out of a position he did not reason himself into in the first place.'

They have more actually. They have the right to falsify official documents (regarding their sex). That's not a right anyone else has.

Not one respected biologist is peddling a 'born in the wrong body' theory.

No biologist worth their salt is going to provide you with the answer you require.

That still doesn't explain why you believe this, or, what you think it means.

My step daughter is a surgeon, one of her uni friends was a naval doctor. He has transitioned to a woman, the surgery also.

A medical professional obviously believes the biology.

Repeating it for a second time despite this being addressed the first time doesn't make it a better argument. You just look silly.
