You are completely wrong.

Labour are massively pro trans
Massively anti women

Everyone knows that on here, but you it seems, you are in denial.

You're wrong. (See how easy this is)

The Tories have proven themselves to be pro Trans, they've introduced it into every school and the public sector.

Stop trying to gaslight people.

Yes everyone believed the trans movement was a good thing at the BEGINNING! But now, the conservatives have understood how dangerous it is to women they have changed their policies.

Labour however are still neck deep in the trans cool aid.

I hope to god they don't get in.

You can't invest in public services with a weak economy. They have no money, so they're doing right by being cautious and not promising things they have no means of delivering. They're eyeing up a two-term government, with the first term focused on recovering the economy, and in the longer term being able to fix all the things that are wrong with the UK today. It's a perfectly sensible, and achievable, plan.

This. Short termism is what has ruined this country.

ll09sm · 04/07/2024 09:56

Imagine trying to replace them with something even worse. That is what is happening.

The caliber of politicians and people in public life has never been lower. It’s like you need to sit a moron test and meet the come uteri’s to be let into run public institutions.

Her budget was an absolute, unmitigated disaster from which we are all still feeling the shock waves. The Tories are not a party that can be trusted with the economy. From austerity to Trussonomics, they are a catastrophe.

Our debt and the current state of the economy are enough proof.

KimberleyClark · 04/07/2024 09:57

They don’t really care how dangerous it is to women, they’re just saying what they think people like you want to hear. Don’t fall for it.

Labour will crash the economy
It will cause a huge recession when people decide it is not worth working anymore due to the huge tax raids.
Capital flight
Investors running for the hills and our debt burden spiralling
No viable Labour plan to grow the economy

I can go on.....

Not unlike the last time Labour were in power come to think of it.

Specifically what huge tax raids?

Capital flight and investors running for the hills? Many business leaders are showing support for Labour in this election.

The last Labour government was a success and had a second term. You may remember there was a global financial crash in 2009 - starting in the US. That’s why they ran out of money propping up the banks.

I have a lot more faith in Rachel Reeves as a chancellor than Jeremy Hunt.

Whatafustercluck · 04/07/2024 09:52

Ah, you can't be bothered to actually Google their manifesto and prefer instead to be spoon fed. Or, you're just not interested in what their plans are because you have no intention of voting for then, never have, and never will 😂

I have and it's all absolute tosh

We will take action on late payments to ensure small businesses and the self-employed are paid on time.

What does that mean?

Independence Day

Never Forget

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

if you think Labour are the answer, you don't understand the question.

This! 👏👏

mitogoshi · 04/07/2024 09:59

5 labour votes from my house, dp has never voted labour before in 40 years. It's more of a watershed than 1997 even because the cons have messed up so badly

mitogoshi · 04/07/2024 10:01

@AlisonDonut

But under the conservatives there won't be any state services to be excluded from! The erosion of women's rights has been under the conservative government!

You don't know what Labour are planning to do clearly.

They have huge tax raids planned, on houses, cars, bedrooms and gardens. It is going to be a bloodbath because people are voting for change not the loss of their family car and house. They are going to feel very duped if they voted for Labour.

Labour over spent the last time they were in office and left us penniless so when the crash came in 2008 we were nearly bankrupt as a country.

You have a very short memory!!

I have concerns for the women. Because they are women.

ETA: To be fair if you don't see how putting men into prisons with women is a concern then you are probably way beyond help.

I worked in a secure MH unit and we had a transgender female on a male ward. She wasn’t very safe there either but, again, this is not a sexy topic to discuss. Now, nobody is suggesting that she should have been put to female ward as she wouldn’t be much safer there either. But the fact that there is NO safe provision in place is what I find unacceptable.
Why is it OK to sacrifice this individual’s right to safety? Because she happens to be born a male?
My best friend is a transgender male. Before transitioning he underwent a series of embarrassing encounters within the health service including a medical professional suggesting that she (at the time) tried to have sex with men to see if she liked it. Does this sound OK to you as a female rights advocate?
The point is not to establish who has more rights at the expense of the other. The point is to create a system under which everyone can have equitable access to everything they need to live with dignity.

This has been going on for years. Penny Mordant as Minister for Equalities, spread gender ideology across public institutions.

Because male sex offenders often rape women in single sex spaces, particularly vulnerable ones in MH units, prisons and hospitals. Or is that okay as long as the man has his rights protected?

I am pissed off that so many women are voting their rights away - astonished that they seem to be so badly educated as to not understand what Labour intend to do with their vote.

HowIrresponsible · 04/07/2024 10:18

I also can't believe how many people think the Tories are screwing money out of you and there's a load hiding that labour can spend.

Does no one remember covid? All of you thought it was funny to be furloughed on a full wage. You think all that came for free? I was worried at the time that the government paid everyone's wages not to work and what the fall out would be. Well here it is. I suppose you all got to sit on your backsides for over a year whilst your wages were paid.

Also cancelling all routine NhS treatment and making it a covid only service. Here's the fall out - the waiting lists are out of control.

I'm surprised how so many think you could close down the country for 2 years and there be no consequence other than it being the tories evil plan to do it deliberately.

As for the NhS and when Brown brought us slap bang into the European average, productivity declined - and the onky discernible change was a massive pay rise for NHS staff. (Also “chronically and historically underpaid” according to them).
You could cram the entire GDP into the maw of the NHS and it would still demand more and screech about underfunding - even (as now) with the consultants’ car park full of Jags and Mercs.
The NHS doesn’t even do irony well.
