He’s toast.

I like Ms Page. I like her style of questioning.

Her analogy of Frankstein monster and body parts is helping me understand all the different bugs, errors, defects GJ either didn't know about, didnt go and find out about or did know about, but 'forgot' when being an expert witness.

He was relying on xyz all the time. And doesn't know. Wtf were they paying him for?

She's really brilliant!

His total disconnect between the arid theoretical business of computer and software systems and real, live, suffering people is being starkly exposed by Ms Page

Rather horrible to watch and he’s like a cornered animal . I know he’s culpable but conversely I’m worried for his mental health after this
obvs nobody worried about the poor postmasters though, maybe it’s my conditioning ….and actually he probably doesn’t give a damn.

You'd wonder if he believes he has any responsibility for anything? Ultimately it's the company but his name is dirt now whatever happens. He doesn't come across as having any contrition though tbh.

Yes, thats exactly how he sees himself.

He's not the only one who thinks like this. Raymond Grant - one of the POL investigators started crying because he thinks how is being treated is terrible. Especially being forced to attend the inquiry.
Paula Vennells very much thinks she's the victim because she was"too trusting" of everyone around her.
Jamail Singh also wailed on the witness stand that he is a victim and even more aggrieved than the SPMR

The crazy thing is they were all celebrating and enjoying prosecuting and taking money from the SPMR.
They were having a great time for the last 20 years.
Even Gareth Jenkins thought it was funny he was called a 'Professor' in a newspaper article.

It's not so funny now.

This is Mr Stein KC from Howe & Co.

He is normally a lot tougher on witnesses, but so far he is treating GJ with kid gloves.

I'm still trying to work out who the guy is sat next to Mr Stein. He has never spoken, bit he has been next to Mr Stein everday. I think he may be a SPMR but I'm not sure.

(Paula Vennells starting crying when Mr Stein was questioning her. Looked at his phone while she was crying and then called her out for talking rubbish)

I wonder if Mr Stein is going after the bigger fish rather than a middle ranking employee (7 or 8 levels below board level), so is going softly to extract the most information

For example an interesting point just made that PO already decided to prosecute the cases BEFORE they asked GJ to look at the data

Jenkins seems to struggle with empathy. If proceedings are taken against him his solicitors should get a psych report.
