This weather!! I could SCREAM!!

WHERE is the sun?!! It is ludicrous, I don't remember a June like this for years and I keep depressing myself with the fucking BBC weather app. They promised sunshine and warmth and now they are saying rain, rain, rain. How on earth is anyone supposed to cope? I am going to Barcelona in a few weeks, and I am counting the seconds. AARGH!

It's in the north east of Scotland and everyone's burnt to a crisp!

I normally hate warm weather, and I'm heavily pregnant, so not in my usual frame of mind. But this year has been so dull! And what about the farmers and their crops? It was sunny earlier in Cambridgeshire, but it got cloudy again before 3pm. It's not even that hot, (thankfully,) tomorrow it's going to be 28°C, which is hot enough. Then by the weekend back to 21°C and rain. Tomorrow is the best day by the looks of it, which is good because I'm watching an open air play. 😊 I'm miserable when it's non stop hot humid weather with no rain, I prefer the summers where it's sunny in the day but rains overnight to keep things fresh.

Well OP the headline in our local paper says that it will '... be hotter than Barcelona as 'mini-heatwave' forecast".

The weather was perfect today 👌 not too hot, around 23-24, with a lovely breeze.

We live surrounded by farmland and this weather just accentuates how lovely it is. I also imagine the farmers will be very grateful that it's stopped raining.

Everyone.....we aren't all this grumpy up here in Glasgow 🙄

OP.....yes it may not be glorious sunshine etc etc but you're getting away to the sun in a few weeks. Think yourself lucky in that respect. Some people don't have that luxury. Such as the very first response you got.

Oh well. I've looked at the weather app and at least a lot of the rest of the country will be getting cloud soon, as well. It would annoy me no end if we were the only ones, but we're not. Those of you who are burning up, take heart! It will cloud over soon enough.

Oh wow, you poor thing! That looks sore. Yes, apply sunscreen again and again and once more. I am mixed race so my skin just goes a deeper brown, so house swap sounds good!

Another cool and overcast day in Cornwall. I put a dress on this morning in anticipation of a nice day and am now bloody freezing. Sat at work with jacket on and blanket over my legs.

Good shout. There are lots of very reasonably priced flights, especially from London. Lisbon is also stunning, as is Nice.

Don't rely on the BBC forecast as it's always wrong. The met Office website is much more accurate ime

27C today on the south coast. I'm melting. DC school has to change dates for sports day. It's just too hot.

I've just been line dancing and the air con in the hall doesn't work but thankfully the fans did.

Today was the first day this year I didn't wear my jacket to cycle home from work.

After 5 years in California with forest fires, ashbon everything like snow, horrible air quality, relentless heat, ridiculous sun burn with sunscreen, lack of shade at summer camp, lack of shade at playgrounds,

I don’t mind the weather one bit.

I feel like screaming, too.

Seven minutes walking from the bus stop home at 3pm, heading north in the shade - and I've burned. Despite applying factor 50 this morning (like every other morning).

Bastarding fucking weather.

I feel like I've had a face lift as it's my forehead, nose, cheeks, hairline, scalp and the tiny scrap of skin at my neck. Now look like shit - burned shit - but shit, none the less.
