Filthy food habit… and what’s yours?

Not talking Biscoff straight from the jar here… its so low-level I’m compelled to post (with NC) so to expose the guilt/be shamed out of it.

Maggi noodles eaten dry, from the packet, with the seasoning sprinkled into them. Preferably chow mein flavour. But eaten in bed. Last night the flavouring went on my sheets which may or may not have been a turning point.

What’s your secret filthy food habit?

Approx 5 different Celebrations chocolates unwrapped, put in a mug together, mine waved for 5-10 seconds then eaten with a spoon.

heinzseight · 21/06/2024 23:34

Oven chips, bisto and grated cheese. Best hangover cure.

Or mashed potato with bacon mixed in.

I’ve never admitted this to anyone… But when I was in my teens and twenties, I liked to get a big bag of Hula Hoops crisps.

I’d take two in my mouth and chew them until they were a mush. Then I’d take the mush out of my mouth and fill a third one with it (this is beyond disgusting, I know). I’d then put the mush-filled Hula Hoop on a plate to let it cool down (cos my saliva and the mush being in my mouth had made it warm) all the while repeating it with the others in the packet. Then when I’d done them all and let them cool, I’d gobble them up.

I have no place on this earth, I know. But honestly I’d do it again. Ha!

I'm so sorry, but this is beyond the pale for me 🤣

That sounds amazing!

I like a small bowl of butter or olive spread on its own or with the crusts I've cut off my daughter's toast, dipped in 🤣

I always remember from my childhood. My mum used to take a spoonful of clotted cream, dip it in sugar, then eat.
It is absolutely banging to be fair.

DrFoxtrot · 21/06/2024 23:41

Loving the absolute filth on this thread 😆 YES to stale Wotsits!

whatthedickens5 · 21/06/2024 23:48

Option 1; Green bean and potato mash eaten on thick white bread with lots of butter, salt and topped with black pepper

Option 2; Green bean and potato mash with lots of butter, salt and pepper covered with full fat milk and eaten like porridge 😋

ahahblueeyes · 21/06/2024 23:58

@ForestForever diet coke can ONLY be drunk at full fizz capacity!!!

scary about the raw bacon LOL.

I do like supernoodles (chicken with a tin of chopped tomatoes) which people thing is an odd dinner.... lol

Omg I love stale wotsits

until tonight I didn’t know wotsits could get stale. I thought you had to eat the entire packet in under twenty seconds.

HcbSS · 22/06/2024 00:01

Cheese and marmite sandwiches
I often eat my breakfast porridge out the saucepan to save washing (and I have a dishwasher so no excuse)
ketchup with pizza

I love microwaved chocolate with a dollop of extra thick double cream on top. I’m disgusting.

Also Swedish pizza salad is food of the gods, no matter how many times I make it I can’t compete with one from a Swedish pizza takeaway.

ahahblueeyes · 22/06/2024 00:09

@HcbSS also eat pasta out of the pot... save washing lol

chairsaregreen · 22/06/2024 00:09

Buttered pizza.

Some of these are very inspiring!

GetOutGetOutGet · 21/06/2024 22:08

Toast topped with a slice of pineapple and then a slice of dairylea, grilled and eaten when cheese all gooey

That sounds surprisingly nice

OriginalFloorboards · 22/06/2024 00:20

Horlicks powder straight from the jar. I know, it’s bad.

I used to love the Horlicks sweets in the 80s if anyone remembers them.

TJH1 · 22/06/2024 00:28

allaboardtheplaybus · 21/06/2024 23:02

Scraping all the brown roast chicken goo from the roasting tin and eating it off the spoon 😋

Mmmmm, me too

loropianalover · 22/06/2024 00:34

I dip my McD’s cheeseburger into my McFlurry. I just love the pickle and onion mixing with the sweetness of the ice cream.

I also find that nibbling on dry Weetabix always helps me if I’ve got a stomach ache/nausea.

Oh my gosh 2 x chewed mini cheddars put in between 2 normal cheddars and eaten like a sandwich 🥪😳

This has reminded me that I used to love chewed up bbq hula hoops squidged inside the hole of a whole hula hoop. Delicious

Yes! I didn't see this before I posted but this is what I used to love (well, not the leaving on plate but... That's a step too far)

My Grandad talked fondly of 'coni-oni' butties in his youth - thick slice pf bread with condensed tinned milk!

Was he a Scouser??!!

Mama2many73 · 22/06/2024 00:44

tartancladpjs · 21/06/2024 21:37

@bossybloss is that not "dangerous"

Mine is tomato sauce sarnies, has to be white bread, no butter.

I totally get the dry noodles, I'm eyeing up a pot noddle now!

I love a hp fruity brown sauce sandwich!
But mine is the complete opposite to yours
Has to be wholemeal seeded bread, has to have butter (not marg) and then the hp brown sauce

TooFatToFadeAway · 22/06/2024 00:51

@wineosaurus4 Try doing the same as you do with mini cheddars with prawn crackers. It’s my favourite!!

PetsPalace · 22/06/2024 00:52

If you like chewy Wotsits, I recommend adding them to a serving of Heinz chicken soup, probably works with other brands but that was my go to back in the day.
If you're more of a tomato soup kind of person, Mini Cheddars are a good choice, especially the Red Leicester flavour.
I think I might have a crisp problem because another favourite is a tuna mayo sandwich with loads of Salt & Vinegar Chipsticks wedged in there 😄

SparklyEyes1 · 22/06/2024 01:01

White bread toasted, spread with margarine and golden syrup. Mmmmmm.

petermaddog · 22/06/2024 01:07

fresh white bread squish together then dip in cold good ketchup
i think it started craving for salt
