Farage is claiming he is the de facto leader of the opposition and that he should get a head to head debate with Starmer. His party currently holds no seats.

What do you think?

Is someone positioning himself for something after the election?

Farage calls for spot on BBC debate as 'leader of the opposition' after poll boost

The Reform leader said a YouGov poll showing his party ahead of the Tories means he should be on next week's leaders' debate

Obviously Farage read or watched Game of Thrones. "Power resides where men believe it resides". If he says he is the leader of the opposition loudly enough, does it become true?
Also "Chaos is a ladder".

I think Farage is a delusional fantasist who is about to fail to get elected to parliament for the 8th or 9th time in a row.

@GreekDogRescue have a word with his Hitler supporting fans and Reform candidates if you're worried about persecuting entire races of people. I believe they're fans. I'm not.

Demonising “poor, working class people’s” opinions is snobbish and elitist.
I guess they are good enough to clean your toilet but not good enough to vote.
Couldn’t you at least try not to sound like a privileged, middle class elitist twat.
I’m definitely going to have to vote Reform now in protest at your comment 🤪

I agree and disagree with both of these views 🙃

On one hand, just because you're less priviledged doesn't mean you can't express a view, even if others don't like it. That's democracy.

On the other hand, Farage is manipulating people. How many people realise his background, his wealth, and so on? He's not "one of us".

And, yes, I am fed up of the media circus around Farage, totally fed up, the mainstream media - all of them - need to grow up.

You've stated on previous occasions that you intend to vote Reform anyway.

I've been following, conservatives, labour, plaid and reform on Facebook in my constituency. Everyone but reform are working their socks off knocking on doors, putting up manifest details bar reform. Press their contact details you're told that the aspiring politician is receiving 60 emails a day so too busy, go read the reform manifesto. 😂

Well excuse me my friend a secretary in a small Welsh primary school in his patch Bangor Aberconwy gets more emails than that to deal with daily. But Mr Clark is way too busy.

You couldn't make it up 🙄

@Winter2020 I couldn't agree more with everything you have written.
