Post Office continuing to cover up where the money went, and to date they're still successful in this, is the current version of "there are no bugs in Horizon".

We've seen the internal POL emails about the suspense accounts and POL just saying anything to avoid addressing them.

This is making sense, especially with Kay. As a forensic accountant, Kay is an expert, so they couldn't fob her off.

I've had some dealings with forensic accountants and I believe their number 1 rule is "Follow the money"

So, all they could do is block her. They couldn't risk giving her any information.

I think that the considerable motivation for that is that money having been misappropriated and gone to the wrong place, with accounting having gone along with this, would have massive implications and could get all kinds of people into trouble.

It's the kind of mischief that can result in the great and the good ending up in criminal court.

I'm beginning to get the sense of the fury there must have been in Post Office that this bunch of amateurs and nobodies were being so effective in fighting back. No wonder there was such incredible shock at the first big High Court judgment against Post Office and why the 3 Lords felt it needed to be destroyed.
