covid again, oxygen monitors again, off work again, informing all vulnerable contacts again, feeling terrible again. I have had 8 immunisations. Well, at least it isn't anything like as bad as it could be without immunisations. But this is never going to end, is it. Every year, at least 2 immunisations, and at least 2 illnesses, until the one that finishes me off , I suppose. That is without counting the disruption when someone else tests positive, instead of me.

I wish it was in the past. I’m still living with chronic migraine triggered by covid late 2020. It’s not fun.

yes, I expect you are right. Still, there is always the hope that someone might be helped by bringing their delusions to MN and seeing the rational responses to them? I don't know, I hope so.

Hmm, well, no vaccinated person I know has died from Covid, while I know - knew - two unvaccinated people who have, one before vaccinations were available and one anti-vaxxer. She was in her mid-40s and otherwise perfectly healthy, but died gasping for air in hospital leaving her autistic daughter with no carer. Meanwhile, no vaccinated person I know has had any adverse effects, unless you count an uncontrolled growth of conspiracy theories and a tendency to attribute health issues that are obviously the direct result of multiple bouts of Covid to having been vaccinated several years earlier.

Both my relatives who died of Covid were vaccinated.

FWIW, I believe some people have been vaccine injured. If I was one of them, I'd be tearing my hair out trying to get heard amongst some of the cranks purporting to speak on their behalf.

This thread is like a blast from the past. The same tired and flawed arguments, the same insistence that Covid is no worse than a cold, the sheer nonsense about vaccines. One would think we were still living in 2020.

No one has died from Covid? Good God. Tell that to the relatives of the millions of people worldwide who have died.

I've never been ill with Covid. I tested positive once but felt perfectly fine, I only tested because it was required at the time. And when the vaccines became available, I got one as soon as I could and I've had boosters whenever possible. I know I have been extremely lucky so far, but I'm not willing to rely on luck alone. I will continue to take advantage of modern medicine, including vaccines.

ok So science used to advise pregnant women to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes until after years of trials and deaths it turned out smoking was extremely bad for you and caused cancers. Pregnant women were also told to take Formaldehyde until further researched proved it was causing deformation with newborns and lots of other birth defects.
I would never blindly accept what people are telling me as gospel and would do my own research into these things.

if you are catching covid as often as you say you are and the people around you are also getting covid left right and centre then I would be looking into my people I come in contact with or possible move to another area. Where I am from it hasn’t been mentioned in years and people are relatively fit and healthy. We are a large town by the seaside with lots of countryside so fresh sea air and plenty of exercise in general. Does the body the world of good and the brain and soul 😁

Anyone who is in denial of vaccine injury is as misguided as the “Covid is a hoax!” gang. I cannot imagine how harrowing it must be and I believe those people wholeheartedly. The vaccine compensation scheme is not fit for purpose. I also completely understand why otherwise healthy people were reluctant to have the Covid vaccine and even more so for their children.

It has to be a balance and people weigh the evidence for themselves. It’s appalling that anti vaxxers question people like the OP about being vaccinated. Suggesting the vaccine is harmful with fake science and no qualifications is the height of arrogance. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to get the vaccine if they were reluctant, I’d suggest they looked at the evidence and spoke to a medic who knows their medical history.

I don’t think it’s fair to scoff at @qpid5tunt. The covid vaccination doesn’t work in the same way as other vaccines and it hadn’t been properly tested. I’m not sure if it has now because I’m not particularly interested.

I do think it’s making a lot of money for some pharmaceutical companies and we should therefore be a little more questioning.

Just think, if we did some mitigations, there would be less illness from covid infections, possibly less incentive from some to have the vaccine, less illness from other infections...AND some systems would be in place to tackle more disease accompanied by Bill Gates's famine! We could play the WHO, WEF and government at their own game and have cleaner indoor air for starters.

The lizard people hate mitigations for the masses. Sick people are easier to control...especially for lizards. Is Bill Gates a lizard or is it just meant to be the royal family? Sorry to sound naive. If people don't want mitigations instead of high levels of illnesses, maybe they'll want them as an extra defense against lizard people? Knew we could find common ground. Win-win.

That's why the lizard king (aka Charles) is spotted with HEPA filters around him. Good enough for their health, but not for the masses.

I think he is a little different than a computer sales person as was involved in development.
He has been giving money away in all sorts of places - possibly to annoy his children and he can't take it with him.
