Hairdressers for the love of god please can someone help

I want to go a pearl ash silver colour.

No hairdresser can do it! I’ve come out of a 6 hour session with Barbie blonde hair!! Again!! I do not want this colour. I’m about to walk into Boots and buy a brown box dye I’m so fed up.

This is what I got and the other photo is what I want! (I know she has extensions in). But I’m so fed up and sat in my car crying.

I have a great hairdresser who will say to people if a colour change is not possible from their current colour. Are they saying it is possible?

You need some silver toner, that's all.
If you asked for silver though I would go back and complain. I mean I say that, I wouldn't actually, I'd probably just go and buy it myself and never go there again, but I'm a wuss 🙈

Don't buy a brown box dye though, buy a silver toner or some silver dye!

Well I said I’m not happy, and he was clearly pissed off. I said it politely too. But he’s self employed so not much I can do.

Doesn't matter whether people on here prefer this or that, OP wanted pearl ash hair and hasn't got it.

You need to grill your hairdressers more and don't leave if you're not satisfied, or rather, ensure they can get you back in asap

I have silvery hair. I don’t like ash either. My hairdresser bleaches the bits that aren’t white yet and applies a toner.

i have used this before when someone else did it and it wasn’t what I wanted

It looks like there is some red in your hair? That might be why you aren’t getting the result you want. Although the hairdresser should have told you that.
