You know those little things in life that people like to morally police and make you feel guilty about but you just can't muster up the shit to give?

This is a confession thread. I'll start.

I don't give a shit that you supposedly shouldn't feed bread to ducks. I don't care. Don't eat it then. People have been feeding them bread for decades and now we're supposed to bring them organic bloody walnuts or something? Or some other crap they don't want that doesn't float?
They can have my slightly mouldy bread and be grateful.

I always fed the rats on purpose while the kids fed the ducks.

The royal family.

Abolish the monarchy. They don’t deserve to live in palaces and have all that wealth whilst there are homeless veterans and vulnerable mentally ill people living on the streets.

The whole not feeding bread to ducks thing was debunked several years ago. So many birds were starving in winter that the authorities were pretty much begging you to take your crusts to the waters edge. Sadly the local councils never got round to taking the old notices down. No money I guess. We feed them a fair variety, they will grudgingly eat frozen peas, refuse lettuce as if it was poison, they do rather like the Swan and duck food from Amazon but bread is their favourite

I shall add:
Washing recycling. I have enough to do as it is, yes I will wash my tins out but I'm not scrubbing them to within an inch of their lives.

I don't give a fuck about how I'm not using "sustainable modes of transport", if the royal family can take private jets everywhere then us peasants should be allowed to drive to work.

In short, it's not that I don't care about the environment it's that the responsibility should primarily lie with big companies not individuals.

I think they are ugly, which is obviously my problem and preference, but the reason I think they are gross is that they are long and opaque, so goodness knows what sort of vile dirt you may have hiding behind them if you serve me food, or hand me my purchase in a shop.

I don't care about swapping seats on planes. I think most people don't either but airline Comms people start threads on here about it to encourage us to pay extra.

Yeah- I don’t care (or serve anyone in a shop/cafe/library/ticket office or anything else)

They are easy to clean- mine are kept clean- and it isn’t my problem if other people think they might be dirty.

A lot of people also seem to hate them because of noise when typing, and expect me to care about that… which is extremely odd because I don’t work in an office or ever type 🤷‍♀️

What men like. I think a lot of women don't care about this.

Having kids. I expect this is a rare one but I just feel my life will be fine either way. I'm quite at peace with whatever happens.

Marriage. I am happily married but I didn't care about it or plan to be. Makes no difference imo.

Kinda. I’m more interested in what the human body can achieve. The best male dancer can never win against the best female dancer for grace + strength + communication. Obvs they can be amazing. Just not the best.

Same as the best female sprinter just can’t beat the best male sprinter (and many other sports).

There are moments when we look at other humans at their physical peak and it takes our breath away. I’ve seen some amazing male dancers, but none have reached the heights female dancers have reached.

I don't care for the royal family. All toffs with too much money.
I don't really care about people's pets, babies or marriages. Children are more interesting when they talk, walk and develop personalities. Wild animals are canny interesting. Pets are boring.

Also men will sexually assault women in toilets if they want to. Doesn't matter what they identify as. The magic women logo on the door won't stop them.

• nurses pay. Most nurses i know are on good salaries, living in large houses etc, good benefits. Better pay than the majority of people and also get discounts off their shops. Yes they worked through the pandemic, this was the job they signed up for. You cant have a career in nursing and them complain when theres an illness. The strikes are greedy.

• tipping restaurant staff. They get paid a wage like everyone else, why is it expected to give them extra for doing a job they are paid to do? My sister used to work in a bar and she was on a lot more than minimum wage because she got so many tips, which was untaxed.

1 in 4 women were sexually assaulted or raped in 2022 - Like I said I don't think men being in female toilets is a problem. I think the problem is just MEN being everywhere....
