You know those little things in life that people like to morally police and make you feel guilty about but you just can't muster up the shit to give?

This is a confession thread. I'll start.

I don't give a shit that you supposedly shouldn't feed bread to ducks. I don't care. Don't eat it then. People have been feeding them bread for decades and now we're supposed to bring them organic bloody walnuts or something? Or some other crap they don't want that doesn't float?
They can have my slightly mouldy bread and be grateful.

Screen time, fresh air, and healthy eating at the weekend/ school holidays. Some weekends, I barely see my kids except when I take food up to them or they come down searching for food or to collect the order from the delivery person ( we get take out every Friday & Saturday night). They can happily spend a whole weekend lounging in the bedroom on phones, tablets, and Playstation.

Yes, I agree with you. I think of pandas as kind of like the royal family — needlessly fetishised, anachronistic, undeserving of the attention lavished on them. Obviously they’re cuter, though.

I don’t care who is running the government. They’re all a bunch of self serving fannies and at the end of the day the country will keep running to some level, because civil servants.

sports
nails
coffee
handbags (and basically any designer names)
what my mother’s friend’s children are doing with their lives.

This is true for me too. I love ballet and female ballerinas, even though I am aware of the health issues such as bad feet and eating disorders for them.

Male dancers prancing around with the outline of their tackle on display for all to see? Meh! They don't ever have to go on point (imagine the whingeing if they did) and they look like they're constantly showing off.

And yet the rational side of me tells me they also work extremely hard.

The duck defenders are having none of it. 🤣

I have duck food or Quaker oats to feed ducks. I find it hilarious that anyone could do anything with their nails other than bite them or use them to open things sometimes, I mean eh, who has the time, who cares, don't they get muddy and chocolatey anyway?! But I do care very much if bastards turn up near me with contagious illnesses ffs.

I don't care about Eurovision or football and I don't care whether coffee is instant or decaff or whatever.

The whole thread has been you telling people why they are bad, bad people for not caring about what you think they should care about, then when anyone disagrees with you you promptly get all wounded and hurt, accuse them of making snide remarks and starting arguments whilst making snide remarks and starting arguments. It isn’t just you but in fairness you have probably been the most persistent in trying to make sure everyone knows your outrage at ducks being fed bread, and it doesn’t make you look like a really good, moral person, it’s just tedious to be honest: tedious and boring.
